EDIT YOUR PROFILE FROM THE APP
This section is updated automatically every time you pass a course or an ecourse and you certify a student. Your ranking in the community listing is raised by those numbers.
As soon as you complete a course with a student, make sure to certify them. Each student certification you submit increases the total of your teaching hours and number of students. If you are working in an IKO Center, the student certification will also appear in the school profile, enhancing the reputation of both you and the school.
Your training hours sum up all your courses or eCourses you have successfully passed.
For example, the e-courses to become a Level 2 and 3 Instructor are accessible once you have gained sufficient experience, such as reaching a specific number of teaching hours and student certifications. Once completed, the qualifications earned will be added to your learning path, accumulating additional training hours.

Once you complete your course or eCourse successfully, the qualification corresponding to the course will be shown in your learning path. Ecourse qualifications appear in the additional qualifications. Your top qualification will also be displayed in your summary profile and is the first criteria for the ranking.

Your job history as an instructor is shown up in the section. No need to create a resume when applying to your next kitesurfing job. Just share your IKO profile!
Each student you teach is an opportunity to develop your reputation and so to get more students. Make it a habit to certify your students as soon as the course is completed, and ask them to rate and provide a review of the course. Your students will receive an email allowing them to access the online feedback. In the feedback, they can also rate the school if you mentioned it in your student certification form and if you are part of the IKO Center’s team. This significantly boosts the credibility and professionalism of both you as an IKO Instructor and the IKO Center. Collecting student reviews is an essential part of your job and is a key factor in strengthening your reputation within the IKO kiter community.
