Do you want to be teaching to more students, open a kite school or get access to various career opportunities?

Instructor Level 2 gets you ready for leadership! 

It’s time to value your experience and take that next step higher in your career! At this level, you will be able to teach to more students at the same time, which means that you can increase your incomes.

As an experienced instructor, you will also have access to more possibilities for your career.

As Instructor level 2, you also get the title Center Manager and Internship Manager.

Prerequisites

  • Be an Instructor level 1 for a minimum of 1 year
  • Have taught and registered at least 35 students with the IKO, totaling at least 280 hours of teaching.

How can I view my current certified students and teaching hours?
  1. Log in to your IKO account.
  2. On the left-hand menu, scroll to the bottom and click “My Profile”.
  3. In your profile page, look for the Experience section.
  4. Here, you will see:
    • Teaching Hours
    • Number of Students
    • Training Hours

This section gives you a quick overview of your teaching activity and student certifications.

How to print my Diploma?
  1. Log in to your IKO account.
  2. On the left-hand menu, scroll to the bottom and click “My Profile”.
  3. In your profile page, look for the Certification section.
  4. Click and you will be able to see all you certification.

How can I become a Level 2 Instructor?

IKO Instructors have to log 35 students they have taught and 280 teaching hours and pass the Exam to become Level 2 Instructor with a score of at least 80%.

Does the IKO Instructor diploma open career opportunities?

Yes. Because the IKO is internationally recognized, earning an IKO Instructor diploma makes it easier to find work around the world. As a member, you’ll also have access to job listings through the “Jobs” section of your personal account.

How long is the IKO Instructor diploma valid for?

The IKO Instructor diploma is valid for one year. Instructors must renew membership annually to have a valid diploma again.
