Marco was excellent, really kept pushing me to try new things and gave me a huge boost in confidence. I'd learnt to kite elsewhere previously but wanted the IKO certificate to allow me to rent kit abroad - Kite control gave me a brilliant few days kiting an I learnt so much in a short space of time, highly recommend!

Marco is an awesome kite instructor! He made sure that the safety requirements are fulfilled at all times and gave great recommendations on what and how I could improve. I can recommend Marco very highly!

I got my introduction to kiteboarding in the Netherlands but it was at The Kitesurf Lodge in Óbidos, Portugal that I really got the tast for it. During my 2 week holiday at the school my instructors thought me step by step how to master the basics of kiteboarding. They did that with a lot of enthusiasm and patience. Outside the actual sessions there was ample opportunity to talk to the instructors about buying your own gear and a lot of advice on how to continue to grow into kiteboarding. Staying at the lodge is also something I would recommend as it fosters discussions on kiteboarding that you would miss when your are just visiting for the sessions. All in all a great experience. I am already planning to go back in 2022.

I can strongly recommend Marco and his crew at Bweeju Beach and the Zanzibar Collection facilities. They are skilled, patient and tollerant in teaching pros and cons in Kiting. The place is super with its shoreline and perfect wind conditions with the reef as wave stopper.

Went to Zanzibar for two weeks during Christmas 2014 and discovered that the hotel (Breezes) had a watersport-center fully equipped with Kites and professional instructors. After a few lessons I was out on my own renting kites and practicing transitions and jumps. I can really recommend Marco and Breezes watersport center for learning or renting Kite!

Marco was very friendly, told me exactly what I really needed to change and had a positive energy that motivated me.
