Pio was a great instructor - pushed me to go outside my comfort zone which really helped me progress. I was intimidated at first with the waves but by the end of two sessions was going over them just fine

From day one I felt safe and trusting with Pip's lessons. Although the water was cold with the right gear my first lessons were great! Great in depth explanations of the Spot, Environment & Activity, the safety functions of the North equipment, use of short lines to reduce the risk of injury while learning. Now progressed to fully independent with further coaching from Pip, progress my jumping. just F**king send it!!!!

The lessons I received from PIP made me feel so much more confident with kite control especially with one handed and my body dragging. Pip is a fantastic instructor; super patient his instructions are clear, concise and to the point and so practical I loved that once I had the hang of the basics, he let me figure things out on my own before stepping in, this gave me so much confidence, knowing he was there but also not having to rely on him as much as we went along, which is great as the goal is to be able to Kite Surf unaided. I would highly recommend Pip as an instructor his knowledge and experience as an experienced kiteboarder gave him such a well-rounded edge, he spoke from experience and no question felt silly to ask. Thank-you Pip, for making this such an enjoyable experience!

I recently had 9 hours of kitesurfing lessons with Pip in Cape Town, South Africa, and I can't express enough how great my experience was. Because of him I became much more skilled with the kite and really learned to get an overall control. He made sure I always felt safe and kept an eye on teaching me in the best beginner-friendly weather conditions. This way I felt I made a lot of progress in these 9 hours and it definitely boosted my confidence in kitesurfing. Pip is a great communicator and really focused on my individual learning pace. He adeptly conveyed complex kitesurfing techniques in a manner that was easy to understand, making the learning process both enjoyable and effective. I can definitely recommend taking lessons with Pip. I'm sure you'll learn a lot from him. Not only is he a great instructor, but also an amazing person!

The lesson with Pip was so much fun! His energy, and attention to detail and safety gave me the confidence to really progress my riding. Highly recommended!!
