On the first day, I was very scared of the waves and the water, even to the point of tears. One week later, I was standing in the middle of those same waves, riding my kite with control, confidence, and excitement. Mike helped me work through my fear with so much patience and calm. This week with him was more than just a technical kitesurf lesson—it helped me feel safe and confident on the water.

I honestly couldn’t have asked for a better kite instructor than Mike. When I first started, I was genuinely scared of kiting and overwhelmed by the whole beach situation. It felt intimidating, and I wasn’t sure I’d ever feel comfortable out there. From the very first lesson, Mike completely changed that for me. He has an incredible way of teaching that instantly puts you at ease. He was calm, patient, encouraging, and always made sure I felt safe and confident before moving forward. Little by little, he took all the fear away, and thanks to him I actually stayed confident and started to truly enjoy being on the water. That alone says everything about how great he is as an instructor. Unfortunately, I had to stop for now due to a previous injury, which is really disappointing because I was having such a great experience. But once I’m healed, I can’t wait to get back on the water and continue taking lessons with Mike—there’s no question about that. I’m really, really happy with Mike and can’t recommend him enough to anyone who’s nervous, new to kiting, or just wants to learn from someone who genuinely cares about their students and their progress. An amazing instructor and an even better experience overall.

Mike was the best teacher to help me get up to speed. Safety was always the priority, with clear step-by-step explanations of what to do and where to focus on. He adapted each lesson to my level and was very kind and patient, which made me feel confident and made learning kitesurfing a great experience.

Une super école de Kite qui réunit toutes les conditions : un superbe cadre, un personnel et des moniteurs souriants accueillants et passionnés avec un bon restaurant pour prendre du bon temps . Un grand merci et bravo à mon super moniteur Mike qui a su me donner confiance avec calme et patience et qui me donne envie de continuer à poursuivre l’apprentissage et l’aventure avec le Kite !

Amazing experience! Mike is an excellent instructor — patient, thorough, and safety-focused. He guided me step by step, ensuring steady progress and helping me build confidence on the water. His emphasis on awareness and safety — for myself and others — made me feel both secure and responsible while kiting. The Mitu & Djo Kite School also has brand-new equipment in all sizes, perfect for any conditions. Highly recommended!

I learned how to kite with instructor Mike, whom I can't tell enough good things about!! He priorizes physical safety above all, but also mental safety, which is crucial for a scary sport like this one. He is the biggest cheerleader of his students and it really boosts your energy. It was a really nice spot very well prepared for beginners, and now i feel confident to go out by myself. Thanks Mike!

L’organizzazione è buona e anche gli istruttori si vede che sono specializzati e che hanno una buona preparazione atletica e teorica. Anche avendo 14 anni e essendo la mia prima volta in kite, Mike è riuscito ad adeguarsi alle mie necessità e paure facendomele affrontare. Mi è piaciuto anche molto che Mike si assicurava che stessi bene e che stessi tranquillo in ogni momento delle lezioni. Ringrazio moltissimo Mike e la scuola

Mike è stato un istruttore fantastico: paziente e gentile nei modi, mi ha spiegato tutto in maniera chiara e facilmente intuibile, accompagnadomi passo dopo passo senza mai affrettare l'insegnamento. È bravissimo a tranquillizzare e metterti a proprio agio soprattutto durante le prime lezioni dove non si è ancora confidenti con il kite. Grazie a lui ho scoperto il mio nuovo sport preferito ☺️
