Über

Boracay bringt einen chilligen Lebensstil hervor: von leckerem Essen (Steakhouse Boracay) über ein Zen-Strandresort (Aissatou Beach Resort) bis hin zu Freizeit- und Wettkampf-Kiteboarding (Habagat Kiteboarding Center), auf Boracay, der besten Insel der Welt, gibt es alles, und das nach deutschem Standard, wohlgemerkt. Das Erstaunliche am Aissatou Beach Resort ist, dass wir eine eigene Kiteboarding-Schule, ein privates Kite-Equipment-Lager und einen Shop haben, natürlich mit IKO-zertifizierten Lehrern! Das Resort liegt in der Mitte des Bolabog Beach und ist nur 10 Minuten zu Fuß von D'Mall und White Beach (Station 2) entfernt. Es ist ein entspanntes Resort, das sowohl für Freizeit- als auch für Sportbegeisterte geeignet ist. Das Resort und die Kite-Schule sind das ganze Jahr über geöffnet. Aufwachen, frühstücken und direkt aufs Board steigen! Chillen, essen, sonnenbaden oder kiten.

Robert has been an incredible teacher throughout the week that he has been my kitesurf instructor. He's very knowledgable, thorough, patient, confident, precise, and mixes in humour in an amusing way. He really went above and beyond to ensure that my first kitesurf experience as a beginning kitesurfer was a great one. Calm and collected, we went through every step required to steadily build confidence and capability, and he managed to teach me lots throughout the course of our sessions together. I had never expected I'd ride a kiteboard within a couple of serious and long sessions, but here I am! I can wholeheartedly recommend Robert as an instructur to anyone who's thinking of picking up kitesurfing and who is looking to do a kitesurfing course! Just do it! You won't regret.

Robert delivered the course with a strong focus on safety while remaining extremely motivating throughout. Safety-relevant procedures were explained clearly and applied consistently, without ever reducing the enjoyment of kiting. His feedback was precise, easy to understand, and perfectly adapted to the individual learning level. This allowed me to make fast progress while learning in a sustainable way. Overall, he played a key role in making kiting feel both safe and genuinely enjoyable for me.

Dong explained the kite techniques very clearly and demonstrated them exceptionally well. Thanks to his clear demonstrations, it was immediately obvious what really matters, and the movements were easy to copy. His feedback was precise and very helpful, allowing mistakes to be corrected quickly. This led to fast yet sustainable learning progress and significantly increased the fun factor of kiting.

Felt like I was able to learn fast bc the steps were broken down and explained well! You have to do so many things at once, glad I learned everything independently before bringing it all together! I had an amazing experience learning with Jerry! He was incredibly patient, supportive, and knowledgeable throughout the entire process. Ich hatte eine unvergessliche Zeit, Robert war ein wirklich guter Instructor. Ich habe mich sehr gut betreut und aufgehoben gefühlt. Although I had been reluctant to try kiteboarding because it seemed extreme, I decided to give it a go when I encountered Habagat Kiteboarding. I immediately got the sense that they were not only passionate but also professional and caring. I received outstanding instruction from one of their newer instructors, Soc. Her diligent approach put me at ease. Under her guidance, I felt like I quickly learned how to pilot the kite and had a ton of fun doing so. My weekend in Boracay ended too quickly, however, because I only managed to squeeze three hours of instruction into it. Fortunately, I live in Manila and am looking forward to the wind returning in Nov so that I can resume my transformation into a kiteboarder!
