Bienvenue à Kite Addict Colombia, la première école de kitesurf de la Guajira - Colombie. Vous voulez apprendre à faire du kitesurf, louer du matériel, faire du kite trip ou améliorer vos sauts ? Alors vous avez trouvé l'endroit idéal ! Notre école est ouverte toute l'année. Notre saison de vent va de décembre à octobre. Avec 20 ans d'expérience dans le monde du kite, notre école dispose d'une équipe d'instructeurs avec une grande expérience dans la pratique et l'enseignement de ce sport et dispose de tous les permis officiels nécessaires. Nos services comprennent des leçons privées et collectives de kite à Riohacha et Mayapo pour les débutants, les intermédiaires et les avancés, la location de matériel, des voyages de kite à Cabo de la Vela et Punta Gallinas pour tous les niveaux, ainsi que des événements annuels tels que des camps de kite ou des compétitions de kite. Les leçons comprennent l'enseignement privé, l'équipement, l'assurance accident et l'assurance responsabilité civile.

​I recently completed the 3-day, 12-hour IKO Certification course with Kite Addict near the beautiful Mayapo, Colombia, and it was a phenomenal experience! ​My trainer, Jhon, was absolutely fantastic. His instructions were incredibly clear and easy to follow, making the learning process safe and fun from start to finish. He maintained a challenging but fair approach, which meant the training was hard but always motivating—perfect for progressing quickly. ​The kite school environment itself is wonderfully chill, with everybody being friendly and supportive. Beyond the training, the location is a dream: the wind conditions in Mayapo are perfect, the housing is great, and the local food is delicious. Highly recommend this course to anyone looking to start their kitesurfing journey!

It`s a great School, they teach safety procedures first, most of the equipment is brand new and all the teachers are IKO certified, plus the spot have wind 10 out of 12 months of the year and it`s quality one.

El curso fue muy bueno, aprendí mucho los instructores también excelentes me ayudaron un montón aprendí bastantes cosas nuevas del kite y pues gracias jhon por todo por qué sin ti no uniera llegado al nivel que tengo ahora, gracias también a Osuna que me ayudó en unas pequeñas cositas que me faltaban, gracias también a Piyi que me dio confianza. y pues nada todo recomendadisimo.

I have started kitesurfing in Mayapo. I had already practiced other water/wind sports (windsurfing) before but this was my first time kitesurfing. Jhon was an amazing instructor: not only he put focus on savety and on teaching me all the fudamentals but he also made every aspect of it fun and enjoyable. We spent together 8 intensive hours of teaching but it was so fun that the time flew fast. He is clearly passionate for the sport and it's contageous. After 8h, I was already able to ride on the board downwind for little distance. I'm very safisfied and definitely owe the great start to a great teacher.

sinceramente estaba cagadi de miedo pero desde la primera clase los instructores me han transmitido mucho confianza y calma. el material estaba todo como nuevo. un gran halago a mi instructor por enseñarme tan bien, en la segunda hora ya me estaba levantando en la tabla. Cabe destacar que fui solo al curso pero siempre me sentía acompañado como si fuera uno más de la familia por los staff members. Un gran saludo y con muchas ganas de volver con más amigos

It was my first time ever kitesurfing and I absolutely loved it! The supervision is individual so the instructor can give hints and help in tricky situations. There are two different surf spots which will be chosen depending on the wind and the experience of the riders. The lagoon is a good spot to learn since you can stand in the water and there is no risk of going far out into the ocean. With the individual supervision you learn new things step by step and make progress based on your own level really quickly. The atmosphere is very good and the team is really nice and helpful! Absolutely recommend to go kitesurfing here!

We got really nice days in Mayapo. Jyostin did a really good Job. I didn’t really have much experience in Kite surfing but learned so much in the three days. Martin and his crew was amazing, they did everything in and arround the water for us ☺️ would recommend any time. Great experience in a great spot.

It was a great experience. My only recommendation is to be very honest about the weather conditions prior to the class. Sometimes they told us to go to class without having the ideal conditions, which made it a little bit harder or took us more time than predicted. Otherwise, everything was good.

Martin’s kitesurfing school was absolutely perfect! Alberto was an amazing teacher—patient, skilled, and super encouraging. I’ll definitely be coming back and highly recommend it to anyone looking to learn or improve!
