Thanks to our consistent conditions and wide beaches, we offer the perfect environment for safe and fun kiteboarding lessons. We work exclusively with the latest Duotone and ION equipment, ensuring high quality, comfort and maximum safety during every session. Whether you are a complete beginner or looking to progress, we offer structured lessons tailored to your level. The school is owned and run by Pieter, an experienced waterman and passionate instructor who has been active in the surf and kite scene for many years. Had een privéles kitesurfen van twee uur, en heb echt veel geleerd en genoten. Er heerst een gezellige sfeer, iedereen is vriendelijk en de instructrice (Anna) was uitermate bekwaam, enthousiast in het lesgeven en paste uitleg en tempo aan op maat. Materiaal was nieuw, en werd op de windcondities en lesdoelen uitgekozen. Ook de veiligheidsuitrusting is top en er wordt genoeg aandacht gegeven aan veiligheidssystemen. Mijn verwachtingen werden overtroffen en ik keer de volgende keer als ik in de buurt ben graag terug.

Kitesurfing is already on my bucket list for a long time, together with a million other things and I just never pushed myself to actually doing it. But now I did and I can’t be more excited. The guys at the school welcomed me as family and the course was both intense and fun from start to finish. I already subscribed for the follow up course and can’t wait for the next session.

4 Wind surfschool from Castricum taught me everything I need to know to go out and practise my kitesurfing in a safe way. They take their time and give you all the feedback you need to improve. They are patient and find ways to help you if a certain method is not working for you. Really recommend this school, excellent teachers, extremely friendly people and a lovely community. Once, I was not feeling well during the lesson but they took care of me and opened up my lesson again at no charge to be used another time. Really awesome. They give you tips for buying your own kite gear and are definately willing to answer any question you have. Amazing school, definately recommend.

A friendly and open atmosphere. The complete course went smooth and was supported by a good online reservation platform. The kite school is honest in their feedback and is well-equipped. Further the facilities are very nice and overall I have experienced a proper communication.

I took my first three kitesurf lessons with 4wind and am happy with it. The instructors are kind and patient. They mostly speak Dutch, but as I speak some Dutch they spoke extra clearly when I didn't understand or said the words in English. Equipement was in very good condition, facilities are also good. Even though castricum is seaside and has waves, it's also a good place during low tide, since there is a Sandbank behind which the water was calm. At least when I took my lessons.
