À propos

MAKAI, already known since 2019 as the destination for beachgoers and water sports enthusiasts, is located on the beautiful south pier of IJmuiden. Our passion for water sports is reflected in everything we do. For example, our facilities are set up to make the surfer as comfortable as possible. But we are also there for the beach guest and walker. With delicious coffee, homemade cakes and other special dishes, there is something for everyone! There is always something on the menu that you want to try. Whether you are an avid kitesurfer or just looking for a nice place to eat, MAKAI always has a place for you. In fact, we are open every day of the year!

Learnt a lot during my spring course. Siebe was very patient and pointed out directly what I did wrong. As an older 😇 beginner I didn’t felt rushed. Best experience so far.
