Bienvenue au Sorrento Beach Club, le premier hôtel de charme de Phan Rang. Situé en bordure du parc national de Nui Chau, nous sommes entourés d'un paysage montagneux intact, d'une végétation traditionnelle vietnamienne, dont les célèbres vignobles locaux, et bien sûr de la lagune sereine de My Hoa, qui devient de plus en plus populaire grâce au nombre croissant de passionnés de sports nautiques qui visitent la région chaque année. Notre ville natale est Muine, mais après avoir visité fréquemment cette région au cours des dernières années, nous nous sommes pris d'affection pour le lagon de My Hoa, à tel point que, après avoir persuadé nos amis de la communauté des kitesurfeurs et des véliplanchistes, le concept du Sorrento Beach Club est né. Dans un style européen tout compris, ce lieu de grande qualité propose des hébergements design, un vaste restaurant et un bar, ainsi qu'un centre de kitesurf et de sports nautiques de classe mondiale, encore jamais vu au Viêt Nam ou en Asie du Sud-Est.

Learning with Matty Hurrell had been something I’d wanted to do for a long time. He completely lived up to my expectations, he’s an incredible instructor. Very calm, clear and knows how to get the best out of you. We had the luxury of walkie talkie radio headsets which was a big help when I was riding up wind and getting the transitions locked in. Getting real time feedback while riding was helpful things click so much faster. I felt like I really progressed so much and my confidence is high with everything I have learned up to this point. I have big smiles every up wind out to sea and coming back to the beach, no better feeling really. Mattys communication and tips was amazing, I can’t speak highly enough of the time I had spent at sorrento beach club. All the staff are so friendly, the vibe is great. Perfect for any riding ability. Or complete beginners, that was me at the start of kiting journey.

I can’t recommend Ben enough! I started with another instructor but switching to him was a night and day difference!— my progress improved almost immediately. He’s incredibly patient and kind, explains everything clearly, and gives really helpful, constructive feedback. I always felt supported and confident on the water. I wouldn’t want anyone else teaching me!

Didn’t think I’d be kiting confidently, but thanks to Bene I was able to do it! I didn’t expect to progress so quickly either. He explains everything in such a calm and simple way that it just clicks. Very relaxed energy, very professional, and always focused on safety. Even when we weren’t in a lesson, he was still checking in on me and looking out for me, which I really appreciated. I’m very thankful for the whole experience. Couldn’t recommend him more!

I had an absolutely amazing experience. I have been kiting for 26 years, but honestly, have never paid attention to many of the technical aspects of kiting. Matty delivered the course in a concise, clear and simple manner, while maintaining a fun and relaxed environment. I would highly recommend this IKO course, specifically, Matty and Sorrento Kite Center, to anyone I know who are considering enrolling in the instructor course.

Stefan was brilliant. Great instructor that pushed me safely outside my comfort zone. Great guy to kite with 🤙 Sorrento was awesome, shallow water, warm and decent wind. Facilities and kit were great.

Rob is excellent instructor, explaining everything very clearly, push you to make more, his commands was loud and clear- you know what to do in seconds, everyday with him is progress! If you want to learn how to kitesurf and know everything from A-Z from basic nomenclature, through physics of kite to advance manoeuvre he is your choice! Sorrento beach club Vietnam my hoa phan rang is the best place that you can imagine to learn kiteing- lagoon with shallow water is perfect and the place itself is like magic oasis! Definitely recommend!

I can’t recommend Elisa enough! After learning from three different instructors and feeling more confused than confident, I was lucky to find her. Elisa is incredibly detailed and patient, and for the first time, everything finally clicked. She took the time to break down the basics and gave me a solid foundation to build on — something I had been missing all along. Thanks to her clear guidance and encouragement, I finally feel confident and excited to continue progressing in kitesurfing. Elisa is a fantastic teacher and truly passionate about helping her students succeed.

Had a lot of fun learning with Itamar at the Sorrento Beach Club near Phan Rang, Vietnam! Great teaching and communication. Learning pace was ideal, with attention to theory, safety and plenty of time to practice on my own as well. It was in early March 2025 and the wind varied a bit each day, so I got to try a bunch of different size kites, which was a super useful experience (thanks Itamar!). Going back as soon as we can, we're hooked.

Itamar was an amazing instructor! He always knew how to give that small tip that made a huge difference for me. In addition of him being extremely professional and walked me trough all of the safety protocols and what do I need to do, he also went above and beyond to give me advice from his own Kite-surfing knowledge and experience! 10/10 would recommend, an amazing person and teacher!

Had an amazing time learning kitesurfing! The instructor was super friendly, clear, and patient, making every step easy to follow. Also, guidance was smooth, and they made sure I felt confident on the water. Highly recommend Itamare as an instructor for anyone looking to learn or improve their skills!
