Tyler Spence at Stoke Riders is great. Safety-minded. Up on the detailed procedures. Much practice on self-rescue. Always kept me improving in a safe environment and allowed me to push my limits without any issues. Tyler is a very good cold-water teacher and all of the gear was top-notch!

Stoke riders is a great school to train with. Tyler worked with me and provided the knowledge and confidence to ride on my own. I will continue to take lesson to progress in the sport. I’m very happy we have been working together.

Tyler and Tiffany were both amazing. They are knowledgeable, safe, and have top notch gear that they are willing and eager to let you use. Tyler gave me a 1 hr refresher course and then I took the IKO certification test. Even though I was only formally with Tyler and Tiffany for an hour, I witnessed their instructing prowess as they brought a friend of mine from never kiting before to kite control and body dragging in a few short hours. I know she felt safe the whole time and is eager to get back on the water - the sign of good instructors.

Tyler from Stoke Riders provided an excellent course! He combined professionalism, a wealth of knowledge, and practical skills in a very safe and friendly atmosphere. Plus, the whole process was fun! I would strongly recommend him and his school for anyone wanting to become a kite boarder.

The instructer was very professional and knowledgable. He quizzed me often which helped me to remember the information. He provided relevant examples and analogies. He was constructive with feedback and gave complements which helped during discouraging times when weather conditions were less than ideal. I am thankful I took lessons as I feel safe and confident in my kiting abilities. I would highly recommend that others take lessons from an IKO certified instructor.

I've had the pleasure of taking lessons with, Tyler, a few times now. He's very thorough in what he teaches, and his passion for the sport makes him a great instructor. I look forward to future lessons together.
