Tanner Rawlins

This operation in Lyle, WA is without a doubt the best one I have come across in my journey learning to kite. Best instruction in a good location for sure. But what really takes it over the top is how personable and accommodating everyone is with goals, schedules, etc. I recommend SA Kitesurf to anyone (ANYONE!) interesting in a kite lesson.

Tanner is an incredible instructor, offering helpful input every step of the way and making sure you have what you need to accomplish your goals. His flexibility and patience made learning to kite super smooth.

SA Kitesurf is a great school and they offer a better deal than the other kite lessons in the area. After 3 lessons I was comfortable enough to go out and ride with friends. The instructors helped me with selecting gear and gave me a ton of helpful advice. Excited for the season to kick back up in the NW so I can go back!

My girlfriend and I both got lessons from Tanner, mine were more on the advanced skills side. Within the first 20-30 mins of my lessons he had me jumping and transitioning with consistency I wasn't able to accomplish on my own. Definitely can't wait to get some strapless and foil lessons in with him next season. Highly recommended!

I had a refreshment lesson after long time (several years) not surfing. Tainer my guide was great a quickly got me back to business not forgetting to refresh me on important safety procedures. I had a great fun

I took two lessons with SA Kite Surf Adventures. I feel like I made good progress. I had a different trainer on each session and both trainers were very helpful, respectful and able to answer any questions that I had. They use a bluetooth headset that is loud, but the on water instruction is very good.

My kite lesson was fantastic, thanks to my instructor Tanner. I wanted to focus on riding upwind and on learning about transitions. Tanner gave clear explanations, great demonstrations and made me do relevant exercises. It was a very successful learning experience. Thanks Tanner!!!!
