The content is interesting, but it feels repetitive. There is a lot of homework for relatively simple exercises, and the theory and questions are overly redundant, which slightly detracts from the overall experience.

Learning how to kite with the hang loose team in Mauritius it was the best experience I’ve been. Everything it was brilliant, the best instructor all the time taking care of you and teaching you how to improve your goals. The gear always in perfect conditions A give them a 10 well done and see you over the water.

Really well run school - nice new kit, they even provide sun glasses incase you forgot your own. The site they teach at is absolutely perfect for learning. Nice shallow lagoon, no currents, steady wind. Couldn't have designed a better location. Highly recommend - if you're a little undecided about trying it out, go for it!

Kindly suggest to review both the ATC & ITC course material and consider what could be removed/ subtracted. Comparing to previous years/ other students, it seems the content keeps on increasing every year. This make it challenging to complete all in time & can cause a rush/ long hours to do so. The Examiner did a great job covering all & the students tried to keep the focus, but this is a real challenge. Thus personally, I think some topics could be omitted (applying KISS), as less / no longer relevant (for example content that was already covered in the ATC, details of non approved safety systems -> instead focus on approved ones only; kite shapes & types that are not commonly used anymore).

Great course - super helpful both for independent kiters and those seeking to progress to instructor. The tutor was an expert and as a result of his instruction I now feel much safer as a kiter and able to impart this knowledge to others.

Course was great overall. Christian, our trainer, did an amazing job by training and coaching us, sharing his broad experience and guiding us. Extremely professional but also sharing his joy and passion with us. I feel very grateful to have had him as a trainer and can strongly recommend him to anyone. Danke nochmals Christian!

Thanks for a great course. Would it be a good idea to suggest having a first aid kite at hand, when kiting (even when doing it privately), as well as to teach some pre-session or teaching stretching/ yoga poses, to warm up and increase flexibility

Overall course was very good. Christian, our trainer, was extremely helpful, with great skills and very happy to share his knowledge and experience with us. Good vibes, better tips, and always with a smile. I've felt I've learnt a lot and improve definitely my overall knowledge of kitesurfing. Can definitely recommend him as a trainer and very happy to continue my IKO path.

The course was positively a lot more thorough and intensive than I was expecting. The examiners experience and knowledge shone through on every subject in every way. A very positive experience which even further enhanced my positive opinion of IKO as an organisation looking after the global kitesurfing interests.
