DM kitesurfing school

After restarting kitesurfing on Schiermonnikoog last week, I had a refresher lesson with Dimitrijus today near our campsite at Lynaes in Denmark. What a lovely spot, a cozy beach with miles of shallow, calm water right at the entrance to the Roskilde Fjord! Dimitrijus is relaxed and clearly finds satisfaction in his work as a kitesurfing instructor. With passion and a commitment to perfection, he helped me improve my water starts, powerstrokes, and releases. Safety is his top priority, and besides offering plenty of technical tips, he's also aware of the feel and muscle memory that ultimately matter. Thanks, and hopefully, see you next time in Lyneas!

My 11-year-old son and I just completed the first 3 days (10-hour course) with this fantastic kitesurfing school — and we’re beyond impressed! The instructors (Rasmus, Christian and Dimitri) are all professional, patient, and truly passionate about teaching. They adapted the lessons perfectly to both of our levels, making us feel safe, confident, and excited every step of the way. It’s rare to find such a great mix of high-quality instruction and a warm, fun atmosphere. We can’t wait to come back and continue! I had an amazing time and had the luck to have good wind three days in a row to complete my 10 hour course. Dmitrijus is an amazing person, teacher and kiter. He was direct when needed and calmed my down when I was to pumped. He felt what was good for me as a student and kept the good vibe going. Next to being an amazing teacher he is a genuine great guy, you can feel his good energy in the short window we had to get to know each other.

I really enjoyed my beginner course lesson. It was focused on safety first and knowledge, making me feel comfortable and confident in the water. Dmitrijus Was recommended to me by a friend and I will definitely recommend him onwards. The equipment was in great condition, wet suits were clean and seemed new. I look forward to coming back again to Lynæs :)

Dmitrijus was an excellent instructor! We really appreciated his strong emphasis on safety, thoroughly walking us through each safety procedure and ensuring we were always well-guided throughout the lesson. He was attentive and consistently present, helping us progress step by step while gradually advancing our skills. The equipment provided was top-notch, from the kite to the wetsuit, harness, and boots—everything was high quality. Overall, it was a fantastic experience!

I had a one hour progression session during which I was kiting mostly with my own equipment. I was riding two different kiteboards from the school. Both were in good condition and fitted my weight and skills perfectly. My instructor, Dmitrijus, is a very good teacher. He's very knowledgeable about kiting and provides very helpful tipps and directions during the session. And he's a nice and entertaining person. The Walkie-Talkie-based remote communication was helpful but did not work perfectly for me. I really enjoyed this session!

Very positive experience. Adam was an excellent instructor with a great balance between instructions and practice. Really good adjustment to my skills and shortcomings as a beginner. I was challenged, but (almost) never overwhelmed with the exercises. I feel I have a strong base of information and experience to build on. Throughout the 2-day course Adam created an exciting, enjoyable ride of tips, trivia and tricks. I've just started my journey, but I feel well on my way. Thanks Adam.

PRO-level instructor! I started from zero and I had 7 hours of training with Dmitrijus and I succeeded to sail some distance left and right, because he clearly explain and show how to do and how not to do. Very systematically courses and safety first always. He saw my mistakes immediately and showed me techniques to avoid them. Very patient and understanding instructor with fast reaction if something goes wrong. I felt really safe as a beginner, because Dmitrijus is a big, strong guy standing beside. I will definitely continue training with this instructor and I would recommend Dmitrijus to everyone who wants to start kite surfing. Big Thank you Dmitrijus!
