The kite course was absolutely top-notch from start to finish. Safety was clearly the highest priority at all times, which made us feel completely comfortable and confident on the water. The instructors were outstanding – highly professional, very experienced, and always supportive. My girlfriend and I felt extremely well taken care of throughout the entire course. The lessons were well structured, easy to understand, and tailored perfectly to our skill level. The instructors were patient, motivating, and always happy to answer questions. Overall, this was a first-class experience in every aspect. We can only highly recommend this kite school to anyone looking to learn or improve their kiting skills. A solid 1A rating!

I liked the way this school had a clear process to teach students how to kite board. I have tried learning in schools in Aruba and it was nothing compared to this. Excellent English, clear instructions. Constant feedback to improve. The 10 Hours spent were very productive with no time wasted. Thanks again to everyone

Thoughtful and patient instructors for all ages (our family covers ALL ages). They are VERY safety conscious and the lessons are student centered and paced. Admin are kind and efficient. It is such a pleasant place to be from the very first introduction to the kiting experience. Definitely recommend if you are looking for a professional, well run organization that delight in their students being successful.

Twice I’ve gone to kitesurfing courses leaving almost 7 years in between course. This time I said I would start all over from scratch. After each day, I couldn’t stop talking about how amazing the training was. Really!!! Daniel’s positive attitude and excellent detailed teaching was top. All the staff were friendly, helpful, and made the experience that much more enjoyable. Even my husband and friend’s husband agreed that the detail of teaching is some of the best they’ve ever seen. I cannot wait to plan my next trip. Super grateful. Super fun had.

Had 2 hour lessons 6 days in a row. Wonderful experience. The instructor was very patient and super informative. He went at my speed and made sure I mastered a skill before moving forward which helped me build confidence. Can't wait to go back and take more lessons.

During my holidays in Cabarete I started learning kite for the first time at the Laurel Eastman Kiteboarding School with my instructor Armando. I’m so happy with the experience and getting introduced to the kite community there. After 5 classes I was able to learn many skills and ended up doing some waterstarts as well. It definitely feels like I have obtained a good base to continue learning from here on. Great crew and vibe at LEK, hope to be back soon! Very recommended!

This past 10 hours - I rode out further into the ocean (more than 2 mins outbound) and practiced my power strokes/riding inbound to the beach. Was able to raise the consistently from half of the time to about 90% of the time coming back towards the beach. Consistently hitting upwind in both directions by the end of 10 hrs. Alex was great at showing me the subtleties and being aware of how much power i should use to get up riding back to the beach, when to continue going downwind and starting upwind. Also learning how to ride in gusty wind conditions.

Juan Carlos gave me many helpful points during the two days we had a bit of wind. Unfortunately the wind was not cooperating during the week so we only got 4 hours on the water. Would go back in a second.

I took lessons towards the end of a larger group of family and friends all learning to kiteboard over a period of several months in Cabarete. I watched all my kids and their friends go first before getting to it myself. Most had a similar experience of needing about 10 hours of instruction to "get it". In those first 10 hours it feels like you'll never get it, but like clockwork everyone eventually does get up on the board. LEK has a systematic approach that works, facilitated by a great team of instructors and administration.
