I spent 9hours with Thomas as my instructor for initiation classes and it was really good. Thomas was patient, very pro with his advice, allowing me to feel the nice sensation while trying to kitesurf. I’ll recomend Thomas as an instructor.

Kangaroo Kite Perú was excellent. They provided everything, the conditions were ideal for learning, and the equipment was in great shape. I trained with two instructors, Lisa and Aaron, and both were fantastic. They immediately spotted what I was doing wrong, which made it easy to make real-time corrections and real-time improvements. My only regret is that I couldn’t stay longer — which says a lot about how good the experience was. I’ll definitely be back in Paracas and at Kangaroo Kite Perú the next chance I get.

Kangaroo Kite es una excelente escuela, dotada de muy buenos instructores, que hacen que la experiencia de aprendizaje sea exitosa y muy amena. La bajísima de Paracas es un lugar ideal para el aprendizaje, se puede practicar todo el año, el mar y el viento son perfectos para ello.

Aprender a hacer kite siempre fue un sueño para mi, un reto el poder enfrentar mis miedos al viento y la falta de control. Fue una experiencia donde tuve que aprender muchas cosas a la vez, que me obligó a salir de mi zona de comfort y que me hizo conectar mucho conmigo y la naturaleza. De las experiencias más increíbles en mi vida, sobre todo cuando logre navegar y sentir que entendía lo que estaba haciendo. Me encanta haber conquistado el reto y me emociona mucho seguir practicando y aprendiendo cada vez más.

The school is located in a non-busy Paracas Bay with constant winds in the afternoon during the summer season. The staff is professional and friendly, and the school overall is providing the service of a very high standard. However, there is not much variety of the equipment and basically just 1 brand available. Anna is a very professional instructor who guided me perfectly towards progressing my skills and getting me to a next more confident level over these few hours I took with her. Very friendly, with clear explanations and feeling the level and the needs.

I had an amazing experience at the Kangaroo Kite School in Peru, learning kitesurfing with instructor Anna. She is not only highly skilled and professional but also incredibly patient and encouraging, making the learning process both fun and effective. The location is stunning, with perfect conditions for kitesurfing, and the school is well-equipped with top-notch gear. Anna’s personalized approach ensured I made great progress while feeling safe and confident on the water. I recently went for my first kite surfing lessons with Memo at Kangaroo kite in Paracas, and I can’t recommend him enough. Here´s why: He broke down the overall technique into manageable steps, ensuring that I was able to handle the kite well on land as well as rescue myself and retrieve the board. As a rookie I felt confident to develop my technique gradually until I got close to independently kiting for the first time. Unfortunately I was unlucky with the wind on my last day but I´m definitely hooked on the sport and will be continuing my kite surfing journey ! Big recommendation for the kangaroo kite school in Paracas as well. The location has stunning nature including pelicans, flamingos and dolphins next to the spot. The bay itself is flat and has little waves but lots of wind and is perfect to start out with the sport. Overall I had a wonderful experience and could experience the joy of the sport at a high level of safety. If you’re looking for an exceptional instructor, and a beautiful beginner-friendly spot to dive into kite surfing look no further.

I can only recommend this kite school! The location is perfect, the team is lovely and the teaching is really good. I learned a lot and had so much fun. When in Peru go to Paracas and learn kitesurfing at the kangaroo kite school!!
