I’ve been wanting to try kitesurfing for a long time and finally took the time to do it. I did the first 3 hour introduction class and it was fantastic. Neil was very helpful and knowledgeable. Can’t wait to get the water experience!

Neil with So Cal Kitesurfing was able to convey the importance of understanding how the kite works and how to remain safe while learning to fly the kite on the beach. I will learn in the water next, and I look forward to the same attention to detail Neil presented this weekend.

Classes and practice was great. I was hoping to finish the day being able to do a water start but was not able to succeed. I followed up with 2 more hours with a better understanding of the basics and hope to be able to do a water start along with gliding on the water and negotiating turns during the next lesson.

This is the BEST school if you want to learn to Kiteboard. Neil had such great patience and was so informative in his approach. I have been to two other schools for instruction and they both could take a lesson out of Neil's book regarding patience, education and learning. A great day and i will be back!

Neil was an incredible instructor to work with in learning to kite. He had a lot of patience and loved to share the in depth knowledge required for someone technically inclined like myself to understand the sport.

Neil, Bart, and their team were extremely supportive and communicative during the entire lesson. Neil did an exceptional job running the lesson at a pace set but our abilities. Not too fast to be overwhelming and not too slow to feel like we were holding back. He also provided instructions in so many different ways to best allow one to fully absorb the instructions. For my first time kiteboarding the wind picked up way more than normal, but Neil instilled the confidence and knowhow to handle it. He made sure I was on the right size kite with the right power and I felt totally confident for my first time out there

Neil was an amazing instructor. He knows what he’s talking about and is very efficient in his teaching style, so you can get the most out of your day. I would definitely recommend him to anyone who is serious about learning. He’s the best!
