Jack Wale

I have ALWAYS wanted to learn to to kite. It was such a wonderful wonderful experience. My instructor was patient and kind and exceptionally thorough. I only wish I had been able to carve out more time personally and started in the beginning of the season. I am super keen to pick it up again and progress further in my course.

Jack transformed the way I experienced learning how to kite surf, as well as my relationships with it. Having had a lot of fear from a past injury when I first learnt, with another instructor, he understood my vulnerability and the need to learn slowly, (while having fun) and made me feel safe at all times. His patience, laughter and ability to translate information practically made it super easy for me to apply to the learning experience. I couldn't have asked for a better instructor to teach me and get me up on the board! Thank you Jackaroo.

Jack White was an excellent teacher who got me up faster and safer, with a more progressive learning curve than what I’ve experienced before. Doesn’t hurt he’s an awesomely pleasant person with an interesting background. Cheerio!

Can’t speak highly enough of my instructor Jack Wale. Incredibly knowledgeable and patient. Jack broke down the sessions into manageable and logical steps before bringing everything together towards the end. Jack was very happy to go at my pace to ensure that each stage was learned (although practice makes perfect!). All done in an informal style with good humour. I also loved the setting at Kenyaways and the way the school is set up with super helpful team members on hand to advise. 10/10

The kitesurfing school (H20 Extreme) is located in on of the best spots in diani to learn to kitesurf. The staff and Instructors are super friendly and welcoming to newcomers. The equipment is in really good shape and I felt really good taken care of during my entire stay. My instructor, Jack Wale, is excellent in teaching you how to kitesurf and showing you all the basics you need to know for the future. He was very motivating, detail oriented and an excellent choice for anyone who wants to learn kitesurfing :)

I really enjoyed my first kite lessons with Jack Wale at H2O Extreme Diani. Well equipped school, great coaches and beautiful environment to start one of the most exciting water sports in the world. Highly recommend the place and the instructor to anyone interested. Best, Brook

Jack is a world-class instructor. He was professional, patient and had a great sense of humour. Each lesson was a pleasure and I made great progress under his counsel. Couldn’t recommend him more for all abilities. He even kindly coined my beach approach “the scorpion” reflecting their body position I found myself in - needless to say this is when he wasn’t teaching me!

It was wonderful learning kite surf and being certified ,instructors are so kind and caring people . I just love it to be among iko members...
