Maki Wiggins

My inaugural kite surfing lesson surpassed all expectations, leaving me eager for more. From the moment I stepped onto the sandy shore, the instructor Maki at KBS exuded expertise and passion, creating an atmosphere of excitement and safety. I can say that this first lesson was just the beginning of what promises to be an exhilarating journey into the world of kite surfing. I can't wait for the first ride!

I started kiting here and did like 12 hours. We had good conditions and I loved it. The beginning was a bit difficult but with the help of the instructors I got better pretty fast. An especially thank goes to Shakira. She was so energetic and craved to see us improving.

We did four courses. Unfortunately our first lesson got declined because of too less wind on Thursday, but we started Friday, had two lessons on Saturday (super exhausting, I don’t know if I would recommend doing 7 hours per day as an amateur) and Sunday. By the end of this we could really see progress and we kited quite a bit. We really want to say thank you to Shakira, for her great explanations, her cheering us up, being a lot in the water with us and making sure we feel good and secure. We can really recommend this school and made great progress!

From start to end a very good lesson. Maki gave clear instructions based on our performance. He gave feedback by making videoclips and discussing it with us which was super helpful. The equipment was good quality. Thank you very much Maki for an awesome kiteboard lesson!

Mijn vader (58) en ik (21) hebben les gehad bij Maki en Tim in groepjes van 2. We hebben super gericht feedback gekregen waardoor je snel goede stappen kon maken. Ook geven de leraren veel plezier aan de les. Echt heel leuk om bij jullie te leren kiten!! Bedankt!!

Had a very nice lesson with kiteboard school.nl. The teacher, Maki, was great. You can tell he has lots of teaching experience and is a great kitesurfer himself. It was quite cold and he even brought some hot tea for us, perfect!

I just finished my kitesurfing course at kiteboardschool.nl I took two packages from 3 lessons and it was a very good experience. Teachers where kind and helpful, we had a kind of lake next to the shore for more easy circumstances but also lessons at sea . I can say I learned the basics very well and now looking forward to do some more specific lessons in the future. It’s a good school , fare prices . Easygoing people… perfect!!

Mannen zijn lekker direct, maar gaan primair uit van veiligheid voor de cursist en omstanders. Goede en duidelijke instructies plus doorpakken op het moment dat het lekker loopt om voortgang erin te houden.
