Mattea De Munnich

I didn't know what to expect other than that Surf Club Keros came recommended by a friend, so should be good.... It was fantastic. Mattea my instructor was truly excellent, even volunteering to book in all my hours [I thought this was somewhat shortsighted of her, but I am glad she did!]. As a 56 year old I haven't learnt a new sport for many years but her great manner - expert, enthusiastic and patient, gently confidence building but with some steel to get you safely moving at at a decent and appropriate speed through all the challenging steps of the IKO curriculum - was instrumental in keeping me going. [Thank you again Mattea]. All things take practice and feedback and we got there by doing just that, and that is the key - there is an awesome reward you just need to keep going [and listening / watching]. My brilliant instructor kept on opening the door, encouraging me to keep on stepping through it - I learnt a great lesson in that, thank you. I did pretty well, I had loads of fun and now I am hooked. What more can you ask for. Good instructors will gravitate to the best schools. The Chief Instructor was a top man, interested in his student's progress and clearly running a top quality professional operation. I accidentally overheard him talking to a member of the team - that they absolutely could not 'disappear' even for a few minutes as he needed to know where his crew were and what they were tasked with at all times, even if on a break. That speaks volumes to me on both the high standard of the operation and its safety considerations. Kite Kit was excellent as far as I could tell. My wetsuit must have been pretty well new. It was the end of the season and nothing seemed too overworked or tatty. Whatever my expectations might have been they would have been completely exceeded - great job Surf Club Keros.

I tried Kitesurfing for the first time during the BikiniTribe camps, organized by SurfClubKeros. Matea was my instructor for the semi-private lessons (2pp) for 2h a day. I am really happy with her teaching and with the facilities provided by SurfClubKeros. I would only wish that we had decent wind for more than 3 days.

The whole experience was absolutely amazing. I loved taking my first steps into kitesurfing and Mattea was absolutely great! She gave me great advices and her guidance really helped me with getting used to the kite.

I had a two great lessons with matthea, I felt safe and improved my knowledge and skills.

Excellent place to learn kite surfing for beginners !
