Kitesurfles offer a good intro to kitesurfing. I was able to make quite a bit of progress in the space of 4 lessons (12 hours)., however like with many things "your mileage might vary". In the final lesson, skills ranged from people being comfortable with waterstarts (some even with transitions) to people having some trouble body-dragging, so the margin can be wide. Ralph is a nice guy, can be a bit intense at times, but shortly after would diffuse any tension with a joke or some constructive advice. He is very knowledgeable and a good teacher, however could be stretched too thin when groups were bigger. Different assistants joined on some of the lessons and they were generally helpful. The equipment was in decent condition, to be expected of heavily used learning kites and appropriate safety gear was provided. Wetsuits were on the thicker side, which was quite nice for the relatively cool water at the spot. One thing I can comment on is the group size, which varied widely over the several lessons - the smallest being 5, despite the initial information mentioning a maximum group of 4. I would strongly suggest to strictly stick to a 2 people-1 kite format. Groups of 3 are simply not workable and eat into your already limited learning time.

Our instructor was very relaxed and confident, and showed he had lots of experience and knowledge. He has a great eye for details and knows well how to explain, show and guide. Even if we both were not speaking our native language, everything was clear and he made sure I completely understood him. Not high paced, but thorough, which has clear, safe and quality results.

The teachers were very nice and explained very well! We had enough time to try everything well and trial and error. Due to Corona the groups were smaller which was nice too. I had a great experience overall!

The school judged the wind conditions each evening ahead of the curse. Only one time the Wind died mid session. But I was offered to repeat that session for 30€. Thats fair. The water start lesson was not enough to us up and running regularly. But I am confident that a 4th lesson will get me going.

The second day one of the bar wasnt ok. So we only practised with 1 kite and bar all day with 5p. To bad the instructor didnt arranged a second one. Would have saved extra instruction and practise time!

My friends and I had a great first experience with kitesurfing. The lessons were set up very well, the teachers were very friendly and relaxed and took the time to teach us the material. Overall, a great experience and would recommend it to everyone. Shout out to our instructors who made it an amazing introduction to kitesurfing :)

If want to pay for 14 hours and get 13, this is the school. I do not recommend. They are very strict in cancellation policy, but no so strict when it comes in the amount of hours you paid for. Expensive school with cheap service. If the wind conditions for beginners are not met, they go on site, cancel the appointment and ask for extra money proportional with time spent.

First two lessons were really good and fun. Third lesson were the conditions not great. We had to practise the start in the break of the big waves. Didnt GO well. Would be better to practise in de lake of the sandmotor

Three things I would expect from the courses: good equipment/facilities provided theory and a time to work on getting the skill with a corrective feedback. Equipment/facilities were overall very good. There wasn't a lot of explaining how wind/waves/forces work and what are the common mistakes and how not to make them. For people who just want to get their hands on experience it is great. Especially at such beginner level. Something to comment We did not practice much of setting up kites ourselves. Instructor would quickly set up a kite and we would not know anything about what knots and where, about kite sizes, needed wind speed, etc. Also we were given safety instructions that weren't reminded or tested. And to combine this with 3 lessons scattered over 6 weeks that knowledge never sunk in and is already forgotten. Insctructors could have been more patient and giving more corrective feedback, instead they were more supervising than teaching. Also I was hoping for them to be a bit more patient. All in all, I had a great time and I cannot wait to get my own gear and start spending more time. I am happy I took this course.
