Susanne Seeboo

I had always dreamed of kiting, but was held back by fear from stories from friends who shared their learning experience. Susanne learned about this and proactively invited me to try a lesson and it was simply perfect. I learned so much and had so much fun. Susanne is a wonderful teacher. She creates this learning atmosphere in which steps are repeated over and over again until they start to feel natural, without making you feel like you have to memorize something. At the same time, she had an incredible sense of when to gently push me forward while being supportive and giving me a feeling of safety, and when to stop, ending the session exactly when my energy was fading. Learning kiting with Susanne is pure joy. It was challenging, empowering, and fun in the best possible way. If I could have, I would have taken many more lessons with her.

My Partner an me took some kiting lessons with Susanne at Hang loose kite school on Mauritius. We were already a little bit experienced in kiting but she managed to adapt the lessons to our individual skill levels. She was enthusiastic about kiting, which result in very good teaching points. From safety aspects to taking the next steps in riding all instructions and exercises were very detailed but and helpfull. I would highly recommend the Hang loose and Susanne to anyone.

Es hat super viel Spaß gemacht. Mit Susannes Hilfe habe ich endlich den Wasserstart geschafft. Sie hat mich immer wieder motiviert und mir unterschiedliche hilfreiche Tipps gegeben. Zudem haben wir auch nochmal alle Grundtechniken wiederholt, wobei der Fahrspaß auch nicht zu kurz kam.

Die Hang Loose Kiteschool in Le Morne ist sehr professionell. Susanne war eine tolle und aufmerksame Lehrerin und konnte mich mit ihrer Leidenschaft für den Sport sehr begeistern. Sie hat mir stets ein positives Gefühl und Selbstvertrauen gegeben

I saw the lagoon full of kiters from the top of Mont Brabant, and it seemed like something I just had to try. We stopped by the school van right after, and the owner welcomed us warmly, explaining my options for a first-time lesson. She was very helpful and kind, making me feel excited about giving kiting a shot. From that moment, we stayed in touch via WhatsApp to coordinate the following classes—everything was smooth and convenient. The lessons with Susanne were absolutely amazing. She adjusted to my pace, encouraged me to explore the kite’s quirks, and taught me how to stay calm when things don’t go quite right—important skills for when I’ll someday be kiting on my own. All of this happened with a big smile on her face (and mine!). The whole experience was such a joy! Now, I’m already searching for future kiting destinations around the world.

I had the best kite instructor I could have ever wished for with Susanne. With lots of patience, joy in teaching and kiting itself, an incredible sense of safety, and tremendous dedication, she gave me wonderful and perfectly challenging lessons. Thanks to Susanne, I’ve developed a real love for kiting and made progress I never expected. Highly recommended!

Didaktisch super die technischen Grundlagen vermittelt um diese dann auf dem Wasser umzusetzen. Prima Ideen wie ich mit einfachen Übungen mehr Spannung auf die Leinen kriege. Springe seither deutlich höher und mit längerer Hangtime. Geniale Lektion, kann ich wärmstens weiter empfehlen 😃

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I recently took a kitesurfing course with Susi and successfully completed Level 1a with a certificate. The course was fantastic – I could really see my progress step by step. Susi was an amazing teacher: very patient, super supportive, and she made the whole experience incredibly fun. The school itself is also excellent and very well organized. I’m already looking forward to continuing my kitesurfing journey – highly recommended!

Susanne is a fantastic kite instructor and is very good at conveying the course content. She spent a lot of time with our daughter, and her training approach is focused on safe and independent kite handling. Our daughter had a lot of fun with Susanne and made great progress in a short time. We couldn't have asked for a better instructor.
