Tim Platschorre

Tim first clearly asked what I did and did not know and adjusted the lesson accordingly. He also asked me what I wanted to learn in this lesson and left me the choice. I got usefull tips and I know feel comfortable enough to go in the water by myself. The gear was in perfect state and Tim knows his stuff about it.

Tim was a great instructor! He gives you all the tools you need to become a proper and independent kite surfer. He also gave lots of good feedback and compliments which helped me get progress quickly. Thank you Tim!

It was the second time we came to Kiteboard school and sadly the second time with almost no wind. But Tim and his colleague, in their first kite lesson of the year, made something possible for us. They used their newest kites which also worked on bad wind conditions and brought us to body dragging in 6 hours. We also tried the water start, but then the wind dropped to almost zero. It was a lot of fun and Tim was always with us and even in cold water, in the rain and with gusty wind he always had a smile on his face. I wish Tim all the best and hope he will manage to get his boat ready soon, so he can fulfill his dream ☺️

The booking of the lesson was a bit of a hassle, not coming though up to 2 times. However, in the end it was fixed, with a perfect amount of wind! They don't have a changing space, but everybody kind of does it in the parking spot, which was fine. The instructor Tim was very friendly and open. He asked good questions and above all, gave good tips. Even though we had someone in the group that wasn't as quick as a learner, he was patient with her, and gave us tips we could use well. All in all, very happy with the lesson!!

Afgelopen week heb ik kiteboard les gehad van Tim. Na twee jaar niet te hebben gekite lukte het Tim om mij heel snel het gevoel terug te laten krijgen. Tim geeft leuk les, hij is enthousiast en de lessen zijn vooral heel leerzaam. Komende week weer een nieuwe les ingepland bij Tim! Een aanrader.

We had a very nice class with Tim! I learned a lot of new skills and he made us do most of the things ourselves instead of us having to watch him doing it. He was very enthusiastic and cheered with us when we did something good. I had a great experience!

This morning I've attended day 3 of my kiteboarding course. The website www.kiteboardschool.nl was very user friendly and so it was easy for me to sign up for my course. Instructor Tim was friendly en clear with his teaching skills. The course was a good mix between professionalism and fun.

Although the instruction on how to use the chicken-loop-release and side-release was too superficial (as you need to unlearn the instinct to hold on to the bar as if it’s a steering wheel), the lesson was great fun. It could improve on this instruction by paying more attention to unlearning the instinct to hold on to the bar. Other than that, Tim really knows his stuff and explains it in a clear and enthusiastic way. It felt like a safe learning environment, and also thanks to him, I look forward to my next lesson!

Another great day at the beach to lean kiting. Me and my son had a lesson together with TIm. Very patient guy with experience and know how to teach an older guy like myself and my son who is 12. We still need acouple more lessons but we will get there. Highly recommend this kitescool !

2nd lesson made me progress significantly. Thanks to Tim, who is an excellent instructor, keen on safety, has a very good eye for spotting mistakes made and with his calmness and relaxed attitude is progressing each and everyone, independent of the level. Highly recommended.
