Patrick and wahoo wind company knocked it out of the park. Their location is spot on and the wind here was perfect. Exquipment performed flawlessly. Patrick instructed very well to my capability and moved me along swiftly while testing me regularly. Could not recommend Patrick and the folks at wahoo wind co enough.

His patience, kindness, and encouragement kept me motivated, and I’m beyond thrilled with the progress I’ve made. He really takes the time to make sure you understand the techniques while keeping it fun and engaging. Couldn’t have asked for a better instructor—highly recommend!

This was my first visit to Mexico and my second ever lesson kiteboarding. Patrick is everything anyone would want for in an instructor and as a person. He is a clear communicator who often uses relational examples, follows a safe and exacting progression of theory, good habits, practice and fun. Patrick even took the time to teach maintenance of equipment, observing conditions and where to get one for one (two for one) tacos!! It is clear that he loves the sport, wants to teach correctly and exudes joy. If you want to progress safely and quickly, go to Vela Baja Adventures in Los Barriles Mexico. The owner- Peter - has built a highly reputable, successful and sustainable business by hiring the highest quality people whom are also great instructors and sailors. I'm heading back next winter.

Patrick was really thoughtful and his attention to safety was impressive. He focused on the safest practices and kite handling above all else. I can’t rate him highly enough. I’ll be visiting him again in the future for more teaching!
