One of the best kitesurfing schools I could find. Before doing private lessons with them, I did lessons in other centres, and the truth is that nothing to do with them. With leerkitesurf the treatment is always super personal and close, which makes you feel very comfortable during the lessons. The material is super new and they have material for all types of wind. Another positive point is that they travel to different kite spots, so you have many more chances to find a good day to kite. On the other hand they use intercoms, which I think is wonderful, because they are advising you at all times, so you get instant advice even when you are sailing. I really recommend it 100%.

Two lessons with Steven finally helped me getting on the board and enjoying the ride for the first time. Contact via phone and WhatsApp was easy. It's a 'mobile' school which means that the training can take place anywhere in the Netherlands. The instructor picks a spot where the conditions are appropriate and you meet there. This is a huge advantage provied you are flexible. My first lessons took place in Wijk aan Zee with quite strong wind conditions. The surf with waves up to 2m made my waterstart efforts really challenging. Without radio contact I would have been completely lost. Anyway, the constant contact via radio intercom headset was the thing I appreciated the most compared to my earlier lessons with other kitesurfschools. The whole time you get instant feedback on what you're doing and don't have to wait for the analysis in retrospect. This really speeds up up the learning proces. My second (duo-)lesson took place at Strand Horst. Despite the weak and changing wind conditions I finally succeeded and found another path to happiness. Thanks Steven!

Sympathetic, patient and flexible teacher who is not bound to a standard location. You set a date together and he checks the wind to settle to a definitive location and time to ensure the best conditions. He uses a watertight radio system so that you can communicate whilst in the water, which comes in handy

Als je goed wil leren kiten, moet je naar Stephen Brok. Hij neemt de tijd voor zijn lessen, de lestijd gaat pas in als je op het water staat. Hij is enorm betrokken bij jouw proces, met een flinke dosis humor. Dat is ook wel nodig, want soms kan het leren toch ook wel frustrerend zijn, haha. Hij heeft enorm veel geduld en heeft zelf ook veel plezier in het lesgeven. Dat is voelbaar, merkbaar. Hij stimuleert je echt en ik denk dat je bij hem in 3 lessen leert wat je anders in 5 lessen zou hebben geleerd. Deze man is een legende. Als Stephen Brok jouw instructeur is, mag je in je handjes knijpen. Vind zo'n exemplaar maar eens ;-) Top instructeur, top lessen. Hij neemt de tijd, de lestijd gaat pas in als je op het water staat. Zeer persoonlijke begeleiding en heeft enorm veel geduld. met een flinke dosis humor. Dat is ook wel nodig, want soms kan het leren toch ook wel frustrerend zijn, haha.

I'm very happy with the kite lessons. Got lessons from Steven. He has proactively adapted his teaching to my level, my preferred learning style and my specific learning points. The school doesn't have a physical location, the upside of that being that they are very flexible in kite location and thus adjusting location to where the wind's best for the lesson.

My kite training experience was really great. I found Steven engaged, always keeping in mind where to improve and with clear instructions I've managed to learn to safely Kitesurf in a short period. The personal approach made this happen. I recommend Steven to every person that wants to start kiting or get next level training.

It was a pleasant training with Steven. He was very flexible with training hours, patient with explanation, adjusting to my needs and wants. There are several places where we had different experiences (lake, sea shore). He had full set of equipment, constantly focusing on safety. Very positive experience.

After a very hard crash in 2005, I had swore never kiteboarding again. Glad by the persistence of my wife and brothers and sisters, motivate me to give it a try again. I contacted Steven Brok, explained what happened to me, and took 6 private lessons. 3 hrs each. Besides the sport totally positively evolved over the last 14 years, I found that adrenaline again, what i so love - playing with the elements. Delivering your that natural high. Thanks to Steven, for guiding and assisting me, his magic made me chasing the wind again. Cheers

I was very exited about my course. I supposed to have 3 lessons. 1st one went well. The instructor tryed his best to make me enjoy. However my second lesson was a disaster. I had a different Instructor who spent most of the time with another student, who had a first lesson. The idea was to bring this student up to speed. So I had about 30 min of the lesson out of (about) 3 hours and didn't learn anything as most of the time I was waiting at the shore. During this lesson I also have been injured as instructor didn't hold me. From that moment I didn't feel safe at all. I mentioned that I am not satisfied to other people from the school but no one cares. So I wouldn't recommend anyone to learn kite surfing with this school.
