Strong Kiteboarding

My experience at Strong Kiteboarding was incredible. I have previously had experience at other IKO schools that were dangerous, unfriendly, unorganized and just generally a bad experience. Strong Kiteboarding and all of their instructors did nothing but reignite my passion for the sport. I saw more progress in one hour at Strong than two days at my previous school. They carried themselves professionally and kindly; extremely excited for my next lessons

After a scary first experience with a Kite School abroad, Strong Kiteboarding did an amazing job at teaching me all the basics very safely and rebuilding my confidence for this sport. Their trainers are clearly passionate and were extremely focused on the progress of their students. The teaching environment is super friendly and positive, and I would 100% recommend!

Lessons with Strong Kitboarding was an excellent experience, they were well equipped, had a great safe learning environment and positive welcoming atmosphere. I look forward to completing more lessons with them.

Years ago I relied on Marty to get me up and going on the Kiteboard. When my 19y/o son expressed interest in trying Kiteboarding this summer, I knew who to turn to. Marty did a great job helping my son get up on the board on the first day and he left the beach at the end of the day with enthusiasm and wanting to further lessons next summer. Woot! Thanks Marty!!!

Jill really helped me to start the wind season off with some solid advice on how to be more successful in my gybes and foot changes on the surfboard. I made a lot of progress this summer because of her advice. Thanks Jill!!!

Marty, Jill, and Ethan thoroughly made all my lessons fun, safe, informative and enjoyable. Their attitude towards safety was of top-notch, quality of lessons was great, down to earth professional instructors truly desired for me to learn which made the learning part so easy and fun. And on top, Nitinat is such a magical place to camp and learn. Thanks, Marty for making my camping fun and memorable. both Marty and Bart were awesome, I learnt a lot more than I thought I would. The courses were far more in depth concerning the weather forcasting and clouds than I expected which was great to see. everyone in the group had a great time and we all really enjoyed the course. I would reccomend the course for sure.

Hi boarding has a very steep learning curve, and Marty is hands-down, absolutely the best instructor possible. Kind, patient and extremely knowledgeable, his confidence permeates every aspect of the journey as one quickly conquers this beautiful sport. So grateful!

Marty and Strong Kiteboarding are highly recommended by me. I received fantastic instructions and moral support as I tackled foiling for the first time. Marty gave me great preparation onshore on the difference between foiling and conventional kiting, allowing me to have proper focus on what I needed to do when I got out on the water. He then stayed with me on the jet ski and was on the money with suggestions to get me going. He had me riding long reaches up on the foil within a couple of days and I’m in my 60’s! Marty and Strong are professional yet personable. They are safety focused, customer focused and have developed a winning formula to get people safely riding. I recommend them highly!
