Kahuna Surfhouse

Moving to Pervolia made me finally take the decision to take up kitesurfing. It's not the kind of sport I generally excel at. But Ari was patient and determined and got me past those blocks and obstacles to being independent enough to go out there on my own, confident in my abilities to practice solo. I've a lot of room for improvement but crucially, Ari taught me what I need to be able to improve on my own. Thanks Ari for getting me past the initial uncertainty to believing this sport is for me! Highly recommend Ari to anyone thinking "I'd love to but I don't know if I can".

This was a very well paced course at an excellent training centre with a brilliant trainer. The trainer knows when to push you to help you break your limits, somehow predicts the weather like a shaman and helps you get confident with a sport which initially seems dangerous and frightening. The Kahuna surfhouse training centre is at a superb location perfect for learning the very basics of kite surfing and also progressing with excellent conditions and ample space for practise.

Had such an amazing time learning with Ari, super patient, motivating, and made every lesson so much fun. I felt safe and learned a lot. Highly recommend to anyone looking for the best surf instructor!

The course was a great experience from start to finish. It was really fun to learn, and everything felt smooth and easy thanks to the clear and structured instructions. Ari was both honest and encouraging, which made the learning process enjoyable and confidence-boosting. I always felt safe and well-guided and Ari’s motivation really helped me push myself. On top of that, everyone at Kahuna Surfhouse is extremely nice, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere. I had a great time learning to kitesurf at Kahuna. My instructor was brilliant and he showed me exactly what I needed to know to get started. After just four days, I was riding upwind smoothly. Really happy with how it went and would definitely recommend him to anyone who wants to learn.

I did my beginners kite course at Kahuna Surfhouse. The Surfhouse is super relaxed, and well equipped, and the team are super friendly. Pan our instructor was great- he spent time with us going over the theory of kiting, and gave really good practical instruction when we were out on the water. I managed to get up and riding on the last day and I was super excited. I'm still learning but the course gave me a fantastic introduction to the sport and I feel that I can kite independently and safely.

The environment was very welcoming and I was having fun while learning! The instructor was excellent as he was explaining clearly the exercises, I had lots of practice time while also being able to absorb all the theory! I always felt safe in the water.

This was actually the best week boot camp I’ve ever tried in my life! I’ve lived directly on the spot, so for the whole time I was involved in operating a kite surf spot. Every lesson was held with full respect for safety, which is most important for me. I’ve learn all the rules and all the technics for rescue, self-rescue, getting to the shore before actually started doing something in the deep water. My goal was to become independent to continue my journey as a kite surfer back to my home, and I fully fulfilled this goal.

Very happy with the course. We did a two person course with Arry. Since we both have done some kite flying before, Arry went over all the topics with us in a quick manner. Focusing one the stuff that was new to us, so we could practice a lot. His feedback was always helpful, so we could make progress. I would totally go with Arry as an instructor again. Great Job.

My instructor was absolutely incredible. He really ensured that I was up to date on all the newest developments in the kite world, knew the rules and all the safety procedures. We spent some time on land to go over everything to do with the kite and theory before heading in to the water and getting a lot of practical guidance and lessons. Overall I can recommend Kahuna anytime, it was an absolute pleasure to learn kitesurfing and felt very well taken care of in a professional and friendly way.
