Highly recommend him for anyone looking to get into kite surfing! Staying at the Kite Surf Lodge in Lagoa de Obidos was also a great choice. Perfect conditions every day, great hosts and good vibes

My instructor was really positive and helpful. Constantly encouraging and providing helpful tips and advice to make progress. He taught me how to travel upwind and also how to transition. I am very happy with the progress he helped me achieve.

I had wonderful experience provide by Kitesurf lodge. Instructor (Lea) was amazing, very clear instructions, she pay attention to everything, I was impressed by her knowledge about kite. After second lesson I was able to water star and kite up wind. I definitely recommend this school, they’ve super qualified instructors. Thank you for a great experience.

Without any expectations at the start, have I realised that this was one of the best experiences so far! Realy awesome instructors who are super patient and have a high knowledge about kiting. They made the experience 100 times better and do not forget more fun.

It has been a great experience and pleasure to spend a week at the kitesurflodge in Portugal. In spite of the missing continuous wind it has been great fun with a good bunch of people. I only can recommend the lodge and the people behind it. PS.: rent a car while you are there. Juergen

Very nice place to stay around and feeling comfortable, feeling at home. They are very honest about weather conditions etc. Anyway they are very down to earth, what I really like. Maybe sometimes a bit to much. The wind was very dissapointing and maybe I would like to have a teacher who will get the most out of it and cheers the students sometimes a bit. I missed sometimes some enthousiasme. Teaching was very clear and fast, not really an introduction, about the plan or anything, maybe because my first lesson was skipped. learing by doing, but no time to make mistakes, which is sometimes a bit frustated. Although they advised to not have another hour due to the wind, uppon request they did it for me, which I very much liked. I cannot compare with other teachers, just had 2 lessons with the same instructor, so difficult to say more about it. * dont know what to reflect with school service

I've learnt Kite surf in Obidos where there is a lagoon, perfect to start. Moreover, Axel is perfect as instructor: He has the patience , he explains very good and step-by-step, repeats if you don't understand and last but not least and for me the most important: he was always next to you when you practise (even if you do your waterstart) and that made me very confortable and allowed me to develop quickly my competencies.

Since I had 0 experience in KiteSufing before, I think I was very lucky to start with it in TSKL. Because the lodge is located at a lagoon, the water is flat and you can walk almost everywhere. The instructors and also the staff there were super kind and it almost felt like I was on vacation with good friends. Also I never felt pressure or that they were pushing to hard on having kite sessions just to get them done. The instructors are very experienced (as far as I can judge) and I was able to progress from scratch to riding the board, and after I returned one weekend later for 4 more Kitehours sometimes even upwind and with some transitioning :D I'm super happy with TKSL and thankful for introducing me to my new favorite summer sport which I definitely will continue!!

Kay Moonen was not just there to teach, he genuinely is he’s to transfer his passion for the sport onto others. He was fair and tough when he needed to be, hardworking, but also let me enjoy everything that comes with being an instructor. The team feeling and the satisfaction!
