David McPherson

David - or MC, that's how everyone used to call him at Lo Stagnone, Sicily - is a great, patient and passionate kitesurf instructor. He was able to pass on his passion for this amazing sport with dedication and enthusiasm. He was always at my complete disposal, focussed on my progression and ready in case of need. He motivated me, believed in me and made me ride.

David is an amazing instructor and professional kitesurfer with a long experience of practicing and teaching - his passion for the sport is obvious and contagious! He took me from 0 to independently kite surfing in a short period of time, and it is entirely thanks to his teaching skills. Most of all, he shared with me his love for this sport, and helped me discover how beautiful it is. He was helpful, attentive, and extremely generous with his time and feedback at all times throughout our lessons. A really enjoyable week in Lo Stagnone, Sicily. The warm shallow waters are great for learners and the large lagoon means there’s plenty of space even if you are starting out. I was a very nervous learner but my instructor was really patient and thought about ways to help me overcome my fears and was able to explain what I needed to do as well as giving good information about safety and the kit more generally. The encouragement and tuition resulted in a massive leap forward for me. Can’t wait to return.
