So glad that I was taught kiting by Rick. He is super patient and is able to point out and address flaws in such way that I felt comfortable and learned fast at the same time! Able to waterstart within two days -> kudos to the teacher!

Als absolute beginner heeft Rick mij bij elk klein stapje van het kiten geholpen. Hij wist veel over de gewone kite en over de flysurfer, waardoor de les ook bij minder wind gewoon door kon gaan. Super fijn!

Rick is a skilled instructor. I never had any kite lessons before, so I had a lot to learn. In a relaxed, enthusiastic and empowering way he teached us all the safety regulations and how to get comfortable and in control of the kite and make our first meters on the water. I would really recommend booking lessons with Rick!

Last week I've had the pleasure of getting taught about the kitesurfing basics by Rick. After talking through my previous experiences (about 3h of private kitesurf lessons), me and a group member were personally observed and advised. We were also given step-by-step tips and feedback to make our actions better. Because of the alternation with the other student, I had time to catch up and process Rick's feedback. Throughout the lessons, Rick had personal attention for me and did a good job of noticing how tense I was. Without discussing this, he anticipated this and made sure I was able to get through the lessons at my own pace, despite the other student being faster in her kitesurfing actions. This made me feel much more confident with the kite and the board, and this made me feel safe to just try and not mind failing. This helped me a lot and I think this is an important skill of a kitesurfing instructor, who pays attention to body language, posture and knows where challenges lie (which do get challenged when they can).

Despite the challenging conditions rick made the best out of it so i was still able to learn the basics of kitesurfing
