Stoyan Ivanov is an еxcellent instructor who pays attention to every detail during the training. Extremely watchful and patient. The surf school Tortuga in Sarafovo, Bulgaria has a rich material base and excellent instructors . The conditions in Sarafovo are suitable for both beginners and professionals.

Stoyan is an awesome instructor and the school have great equipment to provide effective and fun learning experience. Although I was a complete beginner I was able to get up to riding level in a minimal amount of time thanks to the great instructions I received. Thanks to the “safety first” approach from Stoyan I felt safe and comfortable throughout the whole training course. I highly recommend reaching out to Stoyan and the welcoming and nice staff at surf school Tortuga if you are interested in kitesurf lessons whatever is your level of abilities.

As a parent I was looking for a kite spot and instructor, where my daughter will be safe, feel comfortable and will be taught to the very detail of safety of kiteboarding. Personally checking the facilities and the instructor's attitude throughout the course (I've been taught at the same spot and instructor) , I let my daughter to join the kite course. As expected, my daughter felt extremely comfortable and relaxed throughout the course. As my daughter has been taught to the very detail of safety, now as a parent I'm relaxed she can enjoy kiteboarding with all the skills of safety. Would recommend for everyone with priority SAFETY FIRST!

I had an opportunity to have 12 hours of kitesurfing lessons there and can say that Tortuga offers great service in terms of highly-qualified instructors they have on board. During the lessons, I was constantly amazed by the professionalism and self-dedication of the guys teaching me and assisting in the teaching process (Anna and Stoyan you are mega-cool). Guys shared all the knowledge and tricks they have and know with no hesitation: starting from the basics and ending with the pieces of advice on which kites are the best and why etc. They've given me the opportunity to try to do everything by myself but under their constant control. (They are very responsible at work). In spite of the great level of risk and stress which may take place in this sport sometimes, an absolute infinity of patience toward newcomers is one more trait I have noticed there. It doesn't mean that you have to be pretending dull to test that :), but the information was repeated to me and movements were controlled as many times as it was needed in order for me to get it right. In general, they have a very well structured learning process with well-separated stages you have to go through. And, they definitely know what they do and can be 100% trusted. The atmosphere there is a unique one: friendly, international and joyful. In fact, I came there for some emotional and spiritual rest and I must notice that Tortuga has definitely become one of those favourite places, where I find my personal peaceful state of mind. Thanks, guys, for the great time, amazing memories and a new sport I think of all the time now! :)

I was really happy with the course. The organization and facilities were great. The instructor was really thorough, giving good instructions, calm and paying attention to the safety. I felt making progress. If I have the possibility I would be happy to do also the next level.

Learning the basics of kiteboarding was possible because of Anna. She showed professionalism and arsenal of skills. The equipment which is provided for the lessons is in perfect condition and includes everything you need.
