I had an amazing experience learning kitesurfing with Emilia.She is an incredibly attentive instructor who truly focuses on the details, which made a huge difference in my progress. Her step-by-step guidance was always clear and easy to follow, and she consistently set achievable goals that kept me motivated throughout the lessons. What I appreciated most was her ability to understand the student’s perspective—she was patient, supportive, and always encouraging, even when things were challenging. Emilia doesn’t just teach; she creates a positive and enjoyable learning atmosphere that makes you genuinely excited to improve. Thanks to her, the whole experience was not only educational but also full of joy. I highly recommend her to anyone looking to learn kitesurfing!

Emily was an absolutely amazing kitesurfing instructor in Cape Verde. From the very first lesson, she created a relaxed and encouraging atmosphere that made it easy to feel comfortable, even as a beginner. Her instructions were always clear, patient, and tailored to my level, which helped me progress much faster than I expected. What really stood out was her positive energy and genuine passion for kitesurfing. She paid attention to every detail, making sure I understood not just how to do things, but also why. Thanks to her support and motivation, I gained confidence on the water and truly enjoyed every moment of the experience. I can wholeheartedly recommend Emily to anyone looking to learn or improve their kitesurfing skills—she’s not only a great teacher, but also a wonderful person to spend time with on and off the water.

Besides making sure you learn about fundamentals and safety, Andrea really thinks along with your development and pleasure. Very thorough but fun explanation of the sport. 10/10 would recommend him. Thanks for the fun first introduction to kiting!!

I only came back, because of my first experience in January with Andrea… (see earlier feedback)… while the equipment from Mito Kiteschool was already pretty worn, old and shabby, the Kites I got, where super good and the Bars also in good shape. I had booked another trip to Sal to make sure, I would get to a level, where I can independently go out and Kite, and what can I say… Andrea made it happen. It was such a great week, and if it hadn’t been for the way. Andrea engaged with me on a very personal and individual level, I would probably not have achieved it. I am so happy and extremely grateful, that Andrea made sure I was safe and would make it up to Level 3J… I’ll not book any other intructor ever again for getting better in this sport, as I fin to be the best!!💪👍👌👏.. After having many different instructors over more than four years, I can confidently say that Andrea was the best instructor I’ve had. He knows how to strike the right balance between theory and practice, and he truly helps you understand the concepts.

Andrea made me feel safe at all times — before, during, and after each class. I had previously taken lessons in Tarifa and Corralejo, Fuerteventura, and I arrived very motivated to continue learning in Cape Verde. Her technique, patience, and ability to move at my pace gave me the confidence to enjoy kitesurfing safely, always feeling in control of what I was doing with the kite. Andrea transmitted her passion for the sport while also emphasizing responsibility and attention to detail to ensure conscious and safe navigation. Technically, tactically, and personally, it has been wonderful to have Andrea as an instructor. A 10 out of 10 without a doubt. I’m truly grateful, and I know we will meet again soon.

I've learned the basics of kitesurfing at Mitu&Djo school in a week. One of the most adrenaline-pumping experiences in my life. Emily sparked my passion for this sport by motivating me and giving me the exact advice I needed (at one point I thought she was able to read my mind!!). I'll definitely keep kiting

I had the opportunity to take lessons with instructor Andrea at the beginning of February and I am very satisfied with them. Andrea explains everything very clearly, which makes handling the kite quickly stop feeling like “black magic” and start being great fun. Despite the relaxed and friendly atmosphere, he pays a lot of attention to safety, which made me feel confident and secure from the very beginning, even though kitesurfing is an extreme sport. He is also great at motivating and encouraging further learning, even when things don’t go perfectly at first. Thanks to this, the lessons are challenging but enjoyable and very rewarding.

the teacher that me and my sister had was very kind safety and self-confident when he explain us the basic concept of kite surf, he gave us the best equipment that the center had, and he always check the wind power before let us try the kite surf independently. he trust us also if we are at the first step and he often follow us in the water to help us to get confident and learn the best technique, I’m very happy about him and i suggest that fantastic teacher
