The best instructors and material I ever had. The spot is ideal for learning to Kite. Large shallow water area and reliable wind system. We made excellent progress in this one week course. They have LEI and closed cell kites in the school so you can get experience with both types. Very nice people. We had an excellent time there.

Als absolute Anfängerin habe ich mich ab Kursbeginn sehr wohl gefühlt: in entspannter, familiärer Atmosphäre wurden wir an das Thema "Kitesurfen" herangeführt. Hauke ist ein wunderbarer Lehrer, der sein enormes Fachwissen in Theorie und Praxis gut vermittelt und individuell auf die Bedürfnisse seiner Schüler eingeht. Ein toller, erlebnisreicher Einsteigerkurs! Sowohl die Praxis, als auch die Theorie waren sehr gut verständlich. Des Weiteren gab es genügend Zeit, sowie gutes Material zum Üben und sehr hilfreiche Praxistips von einem fähigem Instructor. Zusätzlich wurden auch Empfehlungen/Hinweise zur ersten eigenen Ausstattung gegeben. Zusammenfassend ist der Einsteigerkurs von Boardway sehr empfehlenswert. Hauke von boardway erklärt präzise und passend zum Level des Schülers. Dabei macht er Mut, vermittelt Vertrauen und Sicherheit . Er betont die Stärken des Schülers. Fehler nimmt er ernst, macht sie (oder auch sich und sein Können) jedoch nicht wichtig, vermittelt mir das exakte Wissen, damit ich sofort etwas verändern kann. Mit genauen, praktischen Anweisungen gibt er mir das Gefühl, dass ich es eigentlich schon kann. Er kritisiert nicht, sondern vermittelt sein Wissen und Können in exakten Schritten. Optimales, sicheres Lernen und praktisches Üben, sodass ich selbstständig Erfolge verbuchen konnte. Ein feiner, bisweilen trockener, unaufdringlicher Humor und Respekt, viel Wissen und Können runden das erfolgreiche Lernerlebnis ab. Ach so: immer lecker Kaffee und Duschen gab es auch :-) !!!

I took a 6-days novice course. Thanks to professional guidance and 100% involvement of the teacher (Hauke Hölbe), I was able to ride on the third day. Excellent teacher! The school has a variety of kites (and other equipment), so we could train every day in different weather conditions. Overall - a fantastic experience! Very friendly atmosphere. I would definitely recommend the Boardway school to a friend.

Thilo is a very Admirable and remarkable teacher and Person, I hold him really in high Regard/Respect, And i learned very very much about kitesurfing and had really a good Time During the itc - Course, Even ist was sometimes exhausting. He is a very very good teacher, Friendly , instruktive, funny, , and always helps His Students to get the best. And to Support to get them better and Become Them also a good teacher . I Really recomend the iko Instruktor course doing with him ! I was the only Girl /women in the class, and First i Had some Doubt, But there was no Problem Being the only women.i felt comfortable all the Time in the class. So, the biggest THANK YOU and i Wish him all the best !!!!!!

Thilo was a very professional examiner, facilitating a great learning experience for the whole group with heterogenous skills and pre-circumstances. He covered all content in full and went the extra mile several times to ensure we all truly understood the content or achieved a certain skill before moving on. Organizational wise, he managed that everyone got on their required teaching hours, even though wind conditions were everything else but ideal. Looking back, I wouldn´t have expected to learn that much within that relatively short time period... big thanks!!!

The organisation and conditions of the equiment from boardway was not the best. Helments have not been sorted by size. Some wetsuits had holes. You had to look for pumps fitting your kites etc. This is clearly an improvement that could be done by the kite school boardway. From my perspective the examiner did a perfect job to select and set up the material that was available. I avsolutely would recommand Thilo as a trainer for AITC and ITC. He is absolutely professional but also absolutely open minded and a easy going person all the times.

Everything in the power of the AITC Examiner was absolutely perfect. Only "1.8. How was your personal improvement during the AITC?" I rated as good and not as best because there was rarely good wind to be able to ride myself. "2.3 How were the teaching kites and equipment at your disposal during the AITC (quality/quantity)?!" I only rated as "good" and not as "best" because the material was not all in top condition (e.g. neoprene suits had holes, you had to look for a suitable pump for the kites...) This was not the responsibility of the examiner but of the school boardway.
