HS Water Sports Academy

My girlfriend and me were invited to a wedding in Israel and we wanted to combine that trip with a kitecourse. We found a lot of schools on the Israelian side but locals told a that it would be rather crowded due to holiday season. But we also found one school on the Jordanian side of the Red Sea and thought, why not go on a trip to Jordan? And we never regret our decision. School: The school is rather a small one with super friendly staff and a family-like touch. Good equipment, nice beach and a relaxed atmosphere. During our one week stay we had good thermal wind every day. The spot itself is amazing with a lot of space on the water and rather few other kiters. Kitesurfing is still at the very beginning in Jordan. Trainer: George is an amazing kite instructor. Very experienced, super motivating and it was a lot of fun to improve my kitesurfing skills with him. In the couple of lessons, I took with him he really got me on another level.

I took a 2 hours course in somewhat tough conditions. The instructor was very present and would motivate all along despite the struggles! They really put the accent on you learning to be independent in any condition! Great school and instructor I definitely recommend

I had imagined Kiteboarding to be something easy to learn and master, but I was mistaken. The level of focus and balance required is something to take as a challenge. But with accomplishing that challenge, one day, comes personal growth. That growth, as I witnessed in my instructor's capabilities, will show that you do not need a boat to traverse and explore the sea.

George is a wonderful kitesurfing instructor, and H & S is a great school that has the newest equipment and super helpful staff. George is very knowledgeable, experienced and patient. He makes sure your safety comes first and plans for all different scenarios even when the wind and the environmental circumstances are unpredictable. I would highly recommend it.

An out of this world experience, George is a wonderful patient instructor extremely professional with excellent follow-up, outstanding center with excellent safety measurements and perfect management,Jane was extremely helpful from the very beginning and so was the general Manager Sarah. The H&S kite center and the spot in Aqaba was fabulous. I tried kite surfing at Lefkada in Greece and Dahab in Egypt and did not enjoy the experience and was about to give up on the sport. If it was not for one trial at H&S in Aqaba I would have stopped trying to learn kite surfing. The whole experience from owners, to employees, to coaches are very helpful and the fees are very reasonable.

We really enjoyed our stay in Aqaba and George is the best kitesurfing teacher I ever had!!
