Zoe is an amazing instructor! So profressional, thorough, patient and encouraging! I felt confident that I was always in very good hands. I enjoyed learning the theory behind kitesurfing and appreciated Zoe's clear explanations. The location Zoe teaches at in Rangiputa is magical, and being in that environment made it easier to do the sometimes long hours necessary to get over my teething problems. My husband and I had 'learnt' kitesurfing overseas and it came apparent that we had massive gaps in our knowledge. Zoe was very kind as she helped us unlearn our bad habits... and then graciously and thoroughly taught us the safe IKO way. I appreciated her honesty when it came to pointing things out that needed pointing out. And she did it in such a way that it was humorous, and so much easier to swallow. It made the learning fun. With Zoe's unwavering encouragement and guidance my husband and I, with much satisfaction, got to the level we were after. We highly recommend going to Rangiputa and enjoying having wonderful Zoe as your instructor!

As someone who was a little nervous due to previous head injury's, I felt completely and utterly safe and cared for during my time in and out of the water. The information was given clearly, I was constantly checked on in regards to my safety, and the support given was uplifting and motivational. I am eager to spend more time Kiting, and appreciate the experience that I had been given. Thank you for such a fantastic intro into the kitesurfing world!

Zoe and Bernie were very welcoming and friendly! The atmosphere is relaxed but at the same time safety is strictly adhered to. The kite school spot is the perfect place for beginners. Had a great time thank you!

Very informative and knowledgeable. Had the pleasure to learn from one of the best trainers Bernie who made the course enjoyable. Look forward to taking on his approach and adding my own delivery with my teaching in the future.

Berny was a great examiner, I enjoyed his style of teaching. The weather made it a little difficult to conduct lessons however Berny still managed to teach us the required standards well and in a safe manner.

After the kite ripped I decided this was a sport I could get into. All jokes aside I thought it was awesome and am going to continue learning, hopefully I am a quick learner and can get over the fact that I have one board instead of two! Over all great experience and didn't mind being the guinea pig for the trainee instructors, hope they all did well :)

Was a great expereience and t6hroughly enjoyed my time. Have reciently purchase some gear and am looking foward to giving solo ago. There was 1 moybe 2 times where the communicatiojn was lacking... I turned up on dqy 1 only to findh the wind so was strong haha.. Not to worry, and i a way that maybe me more relaxed

Thank you for a safe and positive experience learning kite skills and body dragging needed for starting up kite surfing. I feel ready to get on a board next time and more confident with trying kite surfing again soon. As a windsurfer and someone who’s been around kites before I was hoping to get on a board during my first lesson but I think Francois rightly picked up on me being a bit nervous and made a smart choice to make sure I had the fundamentals down pat first. Also I think the location with an onshore breeze, shallow water and lack of shore break is excellent for learning. I think they did a good job of selecting an appropriate sized kite etc. The instructor was attentive to detail in making sure I had a proper life jacket as well. It was clear that they were maintaining a high standard of practice which made me feel safer.

my instructor Frank was super helpful in giving me instruction at the Muri Beach lagoon. He is very experienced, was able to teach me the basics very quickly and is also patient. After 3 days, I was able to get up on the board a couple of times and feel like I have a good grasp of the sport.
