Stan Mignon

Super expérience, vécue dans les conditions idéales (instructeur, plan d'eau, vent, matériel) et en toute sécurité. Je pense avoir bien progressé en seulement 2 heures et cela confirme mon désir d'apprendre à maitriser le kite surf. J'ai hâte de continuer mon apprentissage !

Had 4 hours of lessons with Stan (speaks French, English and Spanish) refresher especially water starts then 3 hours of supervised practice with Louis. Stan was patient, helpful and flexible. Supervised practice was useful as Louis took kite and gear back upwind and occasionally retreived board. Las Terrenas (El Portillo) has large calm area ideal for learning unfortunately wind was too light for learning on several of my days there. Highly recommended.

Stan me dió muy buenos e inteligentes consejos para evitar errores y mejorar mi kitesurfing. La verdad que sentí que progresé mucho con ellos (Stan, Luis Daniel y Jeferson). En resumen, Portillo es un excelente spot para principiantes e iniciados y Stan y su equipo son excelentes instructores. No dudéis en contratar sus clases si tenéis oportunidad.

David was very personable and patient while teaching. He was very clear and thorough in his instructions. I had lessons in the past but David made sure to review and make sure i remembered important details. He was a very good teacher. The location was paradise.

J’ai beaucoup apprécié le concept d’avoir Un assistant. Rici était particulièrement bien. Il parle anglais et donne des conseils pour progresser. Le cours avec stan était bien car avec un casque et micro on peut entendre sur l’eau ce que nous devons corriger. Le lieu en revanche est compliquée pour débuter. Pas de bateau de sécurité sur l’eau, en revanche des bateaux de pêche, des pêcheurs parfois des familles

Pura Vida in Ilha do Guajiru is the place to be if you want to learn kiteboarding and progress fast. The spot is a flat lagoon that fills up twice a day and wind is constantly blowing during the high season. Pura Vida is ideally located on the lagoon and has a lot of assistants and teachers who will take care of your gears before and after the sessions. Very good atmosphere at this school, I can only recommend! Thank you Stan, Ricky, Gabriel and Yago! Keep up the good word!

I am so glad to have been able to discover kite surfing with Stan as a teacher. I could only recommend +++ his teaching and his sense of flexibility depending of your level or your mental&physic capacity. His explanations were so clear and he allowed me to start a new passion for kitesurfing. All the other staff in the school are great, careful and humans which I appreciated a lot. Instrutores muito bons, lagoa perfeita, muito boa para aprender avelejar, escola focou muito na minha segurança ao praricar o esporte...
