The team at Padayon Kite school were fantastic. The school is perfectly located next to the shallow lagoon like waters of Bulabog beach, perfect place to learn. I'd recommend Borcay during Dec/Jan/Feb/Mar/Apr - which apparently is more consistent in terms of winds - I was there in October so had quite a few days with insufficient wind - still it was interesting to learn in a variety of conditions.

I recently took a kite surfing course at Padyon Kite Surfing Centre in Boracay, and I can't recommend it highly enough! From start to finish, the experience was absolutely incredible. My instructor, Mr. Rogen Ferrer, was not only highly skilled but also patient, encouraging, and clearly passionate about teaching. The course was perfectly structured. We began with safety protocols and an overview of the equipment, which immediately boosted my confidence. Mr. Rogen broke down the learning process into manageable steps, making even the most intimidating aspects of kite surfing feel approachable. His feedback was timely and tailored to my individual needs and pace, ensuring steady progress with every session. The hands-on practice was outstanding. Mr. Rogen stayed close by, offering real-time tips as I gained control of the kite and started catching waves. By the end of the course, I was riding confidently—a milestone I never thought I’d achieve so quickly! Beyond technical instruction, Mr. Rogen fostered a fun, supportive environment that made every session feel like an adventure. His infectious enthusiasm and deep knowledge of local wind, tide, and weather conditions ensured both safety and optimal learning opportunities. While in New Zealand you get all the ocean by yourself to practice, Boracay East side is world-wide known for its windy season and it seems like an highway. However, Rogen was able to always ensure me the safe space I needed to start with Kite. I only had ground kite control experience and a tiny bit of body dragging before. After 2 days (5 hours) I was able to stand and start having a little bit of fun. That said, Rogen himself is amazing as a person beyond as an instructor. Recommend a visit to Padayon everybody 💖

Padayon is an amazing kite School on Boracay. While learning I always felt safe and very well treated. Everyone was super nice and friendly. The instructor was a super nice guy, explained everything in detail and answered all my questions. And on top of that he always made me feel safe on the water and was all the time very motivating. I can very much recommend Padayon!!!

Amazing school with amazing teachers ! I was a beginner and now I am independant, after only 15 hours of lessons. My teacher was really helpful, ready to explain everything to me and paying attention to every detail of my position.
