I had a blast! Aruba is a perfect place to try kiteboarding; which is not as simple as some make it look. Mike, my instructor was dope as hell. It was my first kite experience and my questions were welcomed. He gave great feedback along the way and was able to explain the aerodynamics and physics of kite control in a way that I easily understood. Definitely plan to continue pursuing kite boarding after Aruba.

I had a great time learning keyboarding for the first time I’ve done snowboarding before but now I had to coordinate the Kite and my way to distribution and it was very stressful at the beginning trying to understand the concepts first with my mind then with my body just like dancing Bachata it takes a little time for my body to get the idea but I truly love the sport. I love to be in nature but not just watch it and walk in it. I want to interact with it. The instructor in the school excellent and I intend now that I am back in the United States to continue my training .

Mike was able to communicate and demonstrate in how to improve my skills from body adjustments and timing. He focus daily on safety and maintenance of our gears. I was able to build my confidence to ride an advance spot “Boca Grandi” with his guidance and did my first ever downwind ride from Fisherman’s Hut to Arashi. We already made plans to come back and continue our progressions.

I want to thank Hendricks', Mike and Caroline for such a great time during our recent trip to Aruba. Caroline was very flexible and helpful getting us scheduled prior to arriving on the Island. And Hendricks' and Mike were some of the best instructors I have ever worked with; both Hendricks' and Mike are very patient, and always SAFE in their methods. They are both super knowledgeable, and this allowed myself and my wife to take our kiting skills to the next level. I learned to be more effective in my toe-side riding and started to work on my jumping technique, and my wife was perfecting her riding and her turns. It was my very first time kite surfing and I couldn’t have asked for a better instructor. Michal was such an amazing instructor, patient, professional and so knowledgeable. By day 4 I was kitesurfing and it was the most incredible experience and high! Definitively the best school in Aruba, everyone is super nice, professional and with the latest equipment and incredible instructors. Definitively 5 stars !

I can not say enough great things about my kite boarding experience! Everyone at Venture Holiday Aruba made me feel welcome and remembered my name day to day. Not only my instructor, Mike, but the entire crew. Customer service was about as good as it get. Now on to my instructor, Mike. I was a complete beginner with little knowledge of the sport. Mike made sure I understood the equipment and the fundamentals of the sport. I never felt insecure. He was patient, I mean really patient. He was an excellent teacher. At the end of each lesson he would review the days accomplishments and what needed to be remembered for the next day. I had the opportunity to use several different kites and learn the particulars of the each. I will continue to pursue kite boarding and can not wait to share my successes with the Venture Holiday Aruba crew! They absolutely made my vacation.

Mike was was an excellent instructor. He instilled confidence in me , as I was somewhat apprehensive trying a new sport. I appreciated his patience in guiding me through advancing my skills, all while making sure that safety was our priority. I am so happy I accomplished as much as I did , as weather conditions were not at all agreeable. Cant wait to learn more!

All staff were friendly and laid back. My instructor Mike was very experienced and detailed in his teaching. Once the instruction started we reviewed the control of the kite, wind direction, and a few other details before getting in the water with the board. Once in the water, the practical lessons begin. Mike gave good examples and was supportive. This sport was not easy, after 10 hours I began to get the motions down and began to get hungry for more time. Did not expect to be absolutely proficient at kite surfing with just a few days of training, but this start and overall enjoyment make me wish to continue pursuing this skill somewhere close to home.

Michael is The Man! My wife and I were walking on the beach and we stopped to watch him teach kitesurfing to someone. I was very impressed with his patience and his ability to communicate what he was teaching. I was was so inspired, I called at took my first lesson that afternoon. For a 63 year old, I think I did pretty well under his tutelage. Unfortunately that was our last afternoon in Aruba, so I will have to wait for Summer to continue my studies. I am very please to report my abs were absolutely aching for days afterwards! Anyone visiting Aruba, take a lesson with Michael.

Had a great time learning how to kiteboard! Shout out to Mike who was an incredible instructor and really helped me with my progression. If I had any questions he would make sure to explain them to me as well as reviewing mistakes that I made. Excited to keep progressing my kiteboarding skills.
