I recently completed a 12-hour kitesurfing course at the Djo & Mitu school in Cape Verde, and I couldn't be happier with the experience. The structure of the school is fantastic—well-organized, with top-notch equipment and a prime location that offers the perfect setting for learning and enjoying this amazing sport. The entire staff is incredibly kind and welcoming, making you feel at ease from the moment you arrive. A special mention goes to my instructor, Simone, who was absolutely perfect. His professionalism, patience, and passion for kitesurfing were truly inspiring. Thanks to Simone, I’ve fallen in love with this sport and am excited to continue practicing it in the future. I highly recommend the Djo & Mitu school to anyone looking to learn or improve their kitesurfing skills. And if you have the chance, ask for Simone as your instructor—you won’t regret it!

Die Mitu Kitesurfing Schule ist mit Sicherheit eine gute Wahl, um in Santa Maria, Sal, Cabo Verde, Kiteboraden zu lernen. Die Schule liegt am top Spot (Kitebeach), ist gut ausgerüstet und bietet einen "all inclusive service" für den Einstieg in die neue Sportart. Einsteiger tummeln sich hier am Spot mitten unter Profis. Als Anfänger und Einsteiger sind die Bedingungen am Spot nicht ideal wegen dem recht unruhigen Meer mit ziemlicher Brandung. Der Trost bleibt: Wer es hier schafft, schafft es überall!

I've done some lessons with Simone at Tribal Surf School in Sal, Cape Verde. Simone is an amazing teacher, with lot of passion, he is really patient and he has had the ability to motivate me whit his competences, tips and smiles!

Very good course in Kap verde. Great teacher that really took the time to carefully explain the basics in kite surfing. For sure I will go back and I can really recommend Tribal Surf as a good school. Many thanks to Simon for a great introduction course!

I spent my last days learning kite surfing with Simone in the Tribal Surf kite school in Santa Maria Cape Verde,well,he is such professional and prepared instructor.Spending lot of attenction on the security and safety system,he was teaching me carefully and very clear.At least i reach to start stansing up on the board,so,well done Simone!!!The school was very nice,good and friendly ambient,with good and competent people.Definitely if u want to learn kitesurfing,this place is amazing!!!!

Visited the island of Sal to lay down on the beach and do nothing, but I got inspired by the local kitesurfers which were racing and flying over the water. I visited the kite/surf school next to our hotel (crioula) and felt very welcome from the first time I stepped in. Booked the intro course and was taught by Simone, a very professional and cool guy to work with. He explained everything in great detail in proper English with a great emphasis on safety and basic rules. I would definitely recommend this school to people who want to get started with kiting. - Alex
