Chris is an amazing teacher, he covered all the content in great detail, and always shows the greatest passion for the sport. The ITC was outstanding, and helped me build a better technical knowledge of the kite, and also had a excellent focus on teaching practises that is rarely seen in other courses, and definitely gave me practical skills that I could use not only for teaching kiting but in any other workplace.

Had a great day away with the KR team who arranged transport and facilities. Great teaching by instructors Scott and Jo giving me further confidence in kite skills and progressing to becoming independent. Super friendly team who were very welcoming giving a great community vibe

I had a kite lesson with Jo. It had been a while again, so I was a little nervous. Jo immediately put me at ease and before I knew it we were just laughing because it was so cold. Before we started everything was briefly explained and Jo wanted to know how well I could do it already. She explained everything very calmly and in a nice way. If I didn't understand, she took the time to explain. We went through all the steps and immediately got good tips from her. I never learned the safety rules very well, so we went over those. This was very nice. I found the waterstart to the left very difficult, but with a few tips from Jo I got out of the water in no time. It was just pretty crowded on the water, so had to find some timing to practice my waterstart. I had a super fun, educational and enjoyable lesson.

Chris is an extremely good teacher; ive done a lot of courses and like to go too indepth with things and my questions throw a lot teachers off track a little bit but chris was always very quick with an answer and brought us back to the topic at hand straight away, there is so much i look upto with the way Chris runs his lessons and even his classes and i hope to be able to teach with such precision in the future cheers

The course could be better with spending more time breaking down the teaching componante instead of going over things in the aissiatance course. If there were video of student failure and then a chance to use the 8 steps to help the student move forward.

I had a great time! Did two hour lesson and it was my first time using a kite. The instruction was easy to follow, and everyone was friendly and professional. Got kite up and going easier than I had expected, had a great time learning and using the kite - and I felt safe and supported. Thank you!

Chris from kite republic is really informative in the course and also went through a few things extra based on a few harder kite tricks not related to the course which was awesome. He was super passionate also.

As a previously certified kite instructor I was expecting to learn the methods and steps to teach kiteboarding to students. But what I didn't expect was learning the phycology of teaching and ways to improve the delivery of my knowledge. Chris Sal was an incredible role model and shared so much knowledge to add to my own. I am so grateful to have had this opportunity to help me become the best kite instructor that I can be. Thanks Chris & IKO!

Chris was fantastic! There’s a fine line between professionalism and being a mate. Chris does this in a way where he grabs your attention because you want(!) to give it to him. Chris’ way of teaching has helped me to learn a great deal during my assistant and instructor courses. His experience and knowledge is exceptional.

I've been on kite training days and weekends away with Kite Republic and they never fail to impress with their advice and tutorship. They're an awesome bunch that I would recommend to anyone who is interested in learning or improving their kite boarding skills :-)
