Matteo possiede eccezionali qualità tecniche sia come kiter che come istruttore. Il suo approccio dettagliato nella spiegazione di una manovra si estende anche alla spiegazione delle ragioni dietro la stessa, includendo posizione del corpo, del vento, e di ogni parte dell’attrezzatura. Invece che spingere l’allievo in acqua il prima possibile, Matteo si assicura che la comprensione della dinamica del kite e di ogni manovra sia perfettamente assimilata. Oltre la parte teorica, Matteo ti dimostra dettagliatamente come eseguire la manovra e ti consente di praticare più volte le manovre di sicurezza e self rescue. Il suo è un approccio che fa sentire l’allievo perfettamente sicuro e a proprio agio. Anche l’empatia e l capacità di sintonizzarsi sulla personalità e le necessità uniche dell’ allievo, oltre alla sua grande pazienza e atteggiamento sempre incoraggiante e positivo, sono un punto di forza di Matteo. Ho provato vari istruttori di kite in vari paesi e scuole, ma Matteo è senza dubbio il migliore. La scuola di kite kite season consiste di uno team super competente e piacevole, perfettamente sincronizzato e dotato anche di personale paramedico. La struttura offre ogni comodità per gli allievi e coloro che scelgono lo spot per noleggio o per usare il parcheggio della propria attrezzatura. 10/10 punti sia per istruttore che per struttura.

L’istruttore è stato davvero fantastico. Molto professionale, paziente e mi ha guidato durante tutto il mio percorso di apprendimento con ottimi consigli. Si percepisce chiaramente la sua esperienza, ed è molto rassicurante! Anche la scuola è davvero eccellente, super ben organizzata, e lo spot è pazzesco, un luogo perfetto per imparare il kite nelle migliori condizioni.

Tadeáš is an awesome instructor and KITE-SEASON in Sicily is just amazing – super friendly crew, relaxed vibes, and everything runs smoothly. We had a blast and totally recommend it to anyone looking for a great kitesurfing experience!

I attended the training a bit tense since I attended the ATC in my native language and this ITC was in English. I found a very relaxed atmosphere and full understanding of my possible limits. By the examiner I received, Top, structured information, proposed in multiple ways in order to grab and consolidate the concepts. I particularly appreciated the real life experiences brought in the training by the examiner because gave me a better understanding of what can really happen on a spot, and forced me to image myself managing the same situation. I discovered that some of my knowledge was limited, while understanding some of the things that I was doing by instinct or experience. I was always asked confirmation if I had understood, asked to give practical feedback, and repeated things that were not clear for me. I learned a lot from the real time tips from the examiner during students’ teaching, and especially when things were not going by the book. A particular emphasis was posed on safety and IKO Standards. All in all, I feel that although a very intense and concentrated course, the ITC is well structured and provides a solid base for this professional career. Of course the hard work it is only begun!! Praising the organising school for the possibility that they offered me booking at the very last moment, on the organisational side, I suggest to separate participants’ living quarters from the classroom (or organise a separate dedicated room), because in this case, at times, it procured distraction and often resulted in serious untidiness. Last but not least, printed copy of the Instructor Manual (for the ATC in Italian I received a full printed colour high quality manual), was NOT available and I had to print one myself at my own expenses, and due the cost of the course, I think that this is not acceptable, also because nobody communicated that I had to be provided of means to work with the electronic copy.

10 days in a row is a lot (atc+first aid+itc); would be better to have one or two days off to rest in between. Doable, but a lot. Especially if you come straight from and go back to a 40 hour work week (bike mechanic). Not the examiner's fault. The school planned it this way. Xavier did a tremendously great job of managing a diverse group of aspiring instructors! This referring to age, riding skills, teaching experience, language capabilities and theoretical knowledge. Everyone got the most out of the course.

Matheo is the best teacher I ever had. He is fraindly and patient, I understood him well. He explained me some things needed to controll and safety ride and have a fun :-) My progress was really quickly under his couching and getting advices. Kite Season scholl stuff are really friendly and I felt there very very very good. Also the location is very good for kiteboarding and spend a really nice holiday. I am going to come back there ASAP.

When I arrived at the school I had never touched a kite. But I had prepared by watching a lot of YouTube, which I highly recommend. Kite season and their instructors gave me a really good experience. Also the area itself is excellent, with a vast ocean which seldom is more than knee deep. Perfect for a beginner.

Course was perfekt. David is comunicative, calm and with good explanation of kite. I can recomend him for czech and for english speking foreigneirs as well. He taught me how to kite wery quickly with wery friendly mood.

I had a great instructor. Honza taught me the basics, told me where I was making mistakes and I was making progress quickly. In a few days I learned to ride against the wind and I learned my first switches. The coach told me that I was doing so well that in a moment I would be able to learn my first jumps. I am very grateful for the great preparation for my entry into the kiteboarding world.

Kiteseason offered a great spot for learning. Different kite sizes available to adapt to changing winds. Great lessons from Iggy, with nice improvisation with small/big kites and long/short lines to adapt to circumstances. On day 3 was up on the board!
